At present,people pay more and more attention to the education of ethnic minority college students.Due to the frequent occurrence of their mental health problems,effective intervention programs are urgently needed.Scholars have extensively analyzed the relationship between positive psychological traits and mental health.Meng Wanjin and Guan Qun developed a positive psychological quality measurement system.This paper investigates the mental health of college students based on a variety of scales,including the Depression and Anxiety Stress Scale,the Positive and Negative Emotion Scale and the Life Satisfication Scale,in order to explore the relationship between the two variables,and finally formulate the corresponding intervention plan.The conclusions of this paper are as follows :(1)The positive psychological quality of the respondents is good on the whole,exceeding the average score of40.627;Temperance scored 39.244 points;Fair score 34.055 points;The emotional average score was 42.852;The average score of interpersonal dimension was 40.509;The cognitive dimension scored 38.791;The overall average score was 236.078 points.(2)The scores of male students were significantly higher than that of female students(P < 0.01).(3)The scores of stress and anxiety in girls were significantly higher than those in boys(P < 0.01).(4)Stress showed a partial mediating function.(5)The combination of positive psychology-oriented group counseling and video intervention showed significant improvement in each sub-dimension of positive psychological character and mental health..
