Objective: To confirm the effect of plyometric training on the bone mineral density of the upper limbs of juvenile,and to provide some reference for preventing osteoporosis in adulthood.Method:Three parallel classes in the second grade of junior middle school were randomly assigned to the plyometric training group(n=49),the resistance training group(n=49)and the control group(n=49)for 3 months of exercise intervention.Before and after the experiment,SOS value of the distal radius,softball distance,PAQ score,PCS score,height and weight were collected and statistically analyzed.Results:(1)After3 months of exercise intervention,the SOS values of distal radius in PG group(P=0.000),TG group(P=0.005)and CG group(P=0.002)were significantly increased,The upper limb explosive force of PG group(P= 0.000)and TG group(P= 0.041)was significantly increased,while there was no significant change in CG group(P = 0.490).(2)The SOS value of distal radius and softball throw distance in sitting position in PG group were significantly higher than those in TG group and CG group(P<0.05),and those in TG group were significantly higher than those in CG group(P < 0.05).(3)The SOS value of distal radius of boys in the PG group was significantly higher than that in the TG group and CG group(P<0.05),and that of girls in the TG group was significantly higher than that in the PG group and CG group(P<0.05).(4)The SOS value of distal radius in early adolescence was significantly higher than that in other developmental stages(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)The three-month plyometric training can effectively improve the SOS value of bone density and muscle explosive force of the upper limb of adolescents.Resistance training can also significantly improve the SOS value of bone density of the upper limb of adolescents,but it does not significantly promote the explosive force of the upper limb.Different training model have different effects on bone mineral density,and plyometric training is better than resistance training.(2)Exercise intervention at different developmental stages will have different effects.The effect of exercise intervention at early puberty is better than that at middle and late puberty.(3)There are gender differences in the effect of different training models on the bone density of the upper limbs of adolescents.plyometric trainings have better effect on improving the SOS value of the upper limb bone density of boys,and resistance trainings have better effect on improving the SOS value of the upper limb bone density of girls.
