| Community education provides abundant learning places and learning resources for community residents and is an important part of the construction of a lifelong education system.With the gradual deepening of the aging process of our society,a large number of elderly people return to the community,and the development of community education has become an important way to promote the elderly to adapt to the transition of roles and actively respond to the aging of the population.To explore the identity of the elderly in the process of community learning is helpful to explore the significance and value of community education practice to the individual development of the elderly from a micro perspective.The “community learning” that this research focuses on refers to the course learning activities or team learning activities that individuals use or create learning resources in the context of the community.This study adopts a qualitative research paradigm.Through in-depth interviews and observations with 12 elderly people who participate in community learning,case presentations and interpretation analysis are carried out,based on self-identity theory,and combined with the analysis dimension of identity,explore the process and characteristics of community learning to promote the construction of identity for the elderly.The research found that: first of all,the elderly construct a positive identity in the process of community learning,can adapt to the individual changes and external changes in the old age,objectively and actively recognize themselves,and form their own sense of integration and perfection as a complete individual.Secondly,the identity of the elderly changes with the deepening of community learning,that is,the deeper the elderly participate in community learning,the more positive identity can be obtained.Finally,community learning can promote the continuous development of identity of the elderly,that is,community learning can promote the identity development of the elderly from the perspective of lifelong and sustainable development.Based on this,this study attempts to put forward suggestions on the possibility of promoting the identity of the elderly from the perspective of community learning,including: first,community learning should pay attention to the development of the identity of the elderly.The significance and value of community learning should be considered.Secondly,community learning should empower the elderly to participate in society,enhance their willingness to participate in society,enhance their ability to participate in society,and create opportunities for social participation.Finally,community team learning is regarded as an important form of community learning to provide cultural resources or practical support for spontaneous community learning teams. |
