Abstract/Summary:
With the continuous improvement of the level of economic and social development,the status in the society has also been significantly improved.Women’s participation in socialized production is an important way for them to have equal rights and improve their self-worth.For ethnic minority areas,solving the problem of women’s employment is of great significance to the harmonious and stable development of the society in that area.Based on relevant theories,this article starts from different perspectives of industries and occupations,and analyzes women in various regions based on statistical yearbooks,census data,and 1% sample survey data about women’s employment in different industries and occupations.The employment status in different industries and occupations,based on previous research experience,selected9 indicators such as education level,urbanization level,and industrialization level,and analyzed the influencing factors of women’s employment status in Gansu,Qinghai and Ningxia ethnic minority areas.,And put forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the employment situation of women in the region.The results of the study show that women in the 13 ethnic minority areas in Gansu,Qinghai and Ningxia are different from men,whether in different industries or in different occupations.Women have better employment status in low-income industries and peasant occupations,but The employment situation in middle-and high-income industries and white-collar occupations that can best measure the quality of women’s employment is not optimistic.Although women’s employment opportunities have gradually increased in recent years,and women’s employment in various industries and occupations have undergone major changes,women in minority areas still have relatively different employment conditions due to factors such as customs and concepts.Big problem.The empirical results show that education level,urbanization level,and GDP have a positive and significant impact on the employment status of women in different industries in the Gansu,Qinghai and Ningxia ethnic minority areas,and have a significant negative effect on the employment differences between men and women in various industries;The ratio of male and female labor force and the proportion of ethnic minority population have a negative and significant effect on the employment status of women in different industries,and have a positive and significant effect on the difference in employment between men and women in various industries;the ratio of average years of education for men and women,and the labor force of men and women.Factors such as the ratio,the proportion of the married female population,the fertility rate,the proportion of the non-agricultural female population,and the proportion of the minority population have a significant impact on the employment status of women in different occupations in the minority areas of Gansu,Qinghai and Ningxia;while the level of industrialization has The employment status of women in different industries or occupations and the differences in employment between men and women have not had a significant effect.
