Under the background of "improving quality and training excellence" in vocational education,higher vocational colleges should constantly improve the personnel training and evaluation mode,and vigorously enhance the quality of personnel training.As a key link of quality control of talent cultivation in Colleges and universities,academic early warning is widely used in college students’ academic management and plays a positive role in promoting students’ academic quality.However,the current implementation of academic early warning in Colleges and universities generally has defects such as "heavy warning,light help" and insufficient prevention in advance.For higher vocational students with weak learning foundation and low self-management awareness,the effect of academic early warning is not ideal.This paper optimizes and improves the students’ academic early warning mechanism in higher vocational colleges,which is in line with the actual management of higher vocational colleges,and has certain research value.Taking Guangxi DL Vocational College as the main investigation college,this paper makes a questionnaire survey and interviews on the current situation of the implementation of academic early warning in higher vocational colleges.The survey found that there are many problems in higher vocational colleges,such as inaccurate positioning of academic early warning,weak timeliness of academic early warning,inaccurate measures of academic assistance,weak strength of academic assistance,and inadequate management of academic early warning process.Under the guidance of total quality management theory and humanistic education theory,this paper takes Guangxi DL Vocational College as an example to explore the academic early warning mode combining "prevention in advance" and "assistance after the event".First,at the front end of academic early warning,through the development of multi-level preventive education and the establishment of a step-by-step early warning mechanism,we can build a student academic early warning and prevention system to further enrich the preventive measures of academic problems.Second,in the back-end of academic early warning,according to the different reasons of students’ academic early warning,we should focus on the ideological guidance,psychological counseling,career guidance,academic guidance and other aspects to build the academic early warning student assistance guidance system,and further enrich the content and form of academic assistance guidance.In terms of early warning management,it constructs the management system of academic early warning and assistance from the aspects of collaborative assistance,closed-loop management and assessment incentive,further standardizes the management of academic assistance,and promotes the successful transformation of academic early warning students.Finally,the author takes three teaching departments in the East Campus of the University as an example to conduct empirical research on the optimized academic early warning mechanism,and evaluates the effect of academic early warning assistance.Through data comparison and analysis,it is found that the optimization strategy of academic early warning mechanism proposed in this paper has achieved good application effect.
