With the change of times and the progress of technology,although human society has made great progress in spiritual civilization and economic development,it is also facing unprecedented problems and challenges.Therefore,in order to better meet the challenges and solve problems to promote the sustainable and healthy development of society,the demand for talents in society is not only knowledge-based talents,but also the reality with problem-solving ability Practice applied talents.Graduate education is an important part of higher education.It undertakes the responsibility of cultivating national high-level talents and realizing innovation and creation.It is a vital force to promote national development and social progress.In recent years,under the background of "double first-class" construction,our country strongly emphasizes and encourages all colleges and universities to carry out graduate education and teaching reform to improve the quality of graduate education.Among them,problem-solving ability is an important factor to measure the development level of graduate students.Problem based learning(abbreviated as PBL)means problem-based learning,which is a learning method in the form of group cooperation to give full play to students’ learning autonomy and cultivate their ability to analyze and solve problems.PBL instructional design in graduate teaching is of positive significance for improving the problem-solving ability of graduate students,promoting the reform of graduate teaching methods and promoting social and economic development.The main contents and ideas of this study are as follows:The first part is to sum up the contribution and deficiency of the existing research results at home and abroad based on the literature review.In the study of literature,clarify the core concepts,and combined with the current research background,clarify thesignificance of this study.Furthermore,the research ideas,technical methods and theoretical basis of this study are introduced in detail.The second part is the research on the current situation of the cultivation of graduate students’ problem-solving ability.Through the questionnaire survey and interview,the results show that the cultivation of graduate students’ problem-solving ability is generally good,but the teaching method is not flexible,the teaching method is still the main body and has a certain impact on the cultivation of graduate students’ problem-solving ability;the graduate students’ problem awareness and the ability to screen information are relatively insufficient;the ability to solve problems from multiple perspectives and choose the best scheme is still difficult;the teaching method is not flexible Most teachers have a more specific understanding of PBL,but students have a less understanding of PBL;most teachers and students are willing to choose PBL teaching method to cultivate and improve graduate students’ problem-solving ability,and think that PBL teaching method is widely used in our country Evaluation,achievement display,problem analysis,cooperation and language expression are the main factors affecting the cultivation and improvement of graduate students’ problem-solving ability in PBL teaching.The third part is the typical case analysis of graduate PBL teaching.In order to further understand the application of PBL instructional design in graduate teaching,this study selects the typical cases of PBL teaching at home and abroad,analyzes and evaluates its implementation of PBL instructional design.Through detailed analysis,it is concluded that PBL instructional design can improve the problem-solving ability of graduate students,which is of great significance for cultivating graduate students to find and analyze problems.However,there are some problems in the application,such as the unclear division of labor among group members,the lack of students’ knowledge transfer ability,the lack of teachers’ guiding role,and the one-sided reflection and evaluation after teaching.The fourth part is to build a PBL teaching design model to improve graduate students’ problem-solving ability.Based on the theory of postmodernism knowledge view,zone of proximal development and system thinking,taking autonomous learning,cooperation,innovation and creation as the design principles,this paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of PBL teaching design in typical cases,combined with the characteristics of graduate students,the connotation of PBL and the current situation of graduate students’ problem-solving ability,and guided by the connotation and elements of 5E Teaching method,This paper constructs a PBL teaching design model to improve graduate students’ problem-solving ability,including the design of pre class preparation,teaching implementation,and after class reflection and evaluation.The key design links are problem initiation,group cooperation,problem exploration,exhibition and communication in teaching implementation.The last part is the summary and prospect.This paper summarizes the innovation and existing limitations of this study,and prospects the related research in the future.
