Private schools as an important part of China’s education,especially in the stage of compulsory education.They not only take the responsibility of diverting students,but also cultivate successors for China’s socialist construction.With the development of social economy,urbanization makes a large number of people flow into the city and forming a large number of migrant workers.Private schools provide a choice to solve the problem of accompanying children education.Although after years of standardization and development,private schools have been greatly improved in school running standards and teaching quality,but there are still many private schools running a school for the sake of running a school.On the one hand,migrant workers have to send their children to private schools.On the other hand,the teaching quality of some private schools is worrying.The main reasons for this contradiction are school management,teachers and students.These three factors affect the quality of school teaching,and also become the most important reasons to restrict the development of the school and hinder the growth of students.This study takes an ordinary nine-year consistent private school in Nanning as the object,takes Babanski’s optimization theory of teaching process as the guidance,studies the current situation of school teaching quality through Documental Analysis,questionnaire survey,Interview survey and observational method to analyzes the existing problems and reasons,and find the strategies to improve the teaching quality.This study investigates from the aspects of teaching management system,teachers’ professional quality and training system,teachers’ occupational happiness,home-school cooperation,students’ academic motivation and so on.It is found that there are the following problems in the teaching quality: First,the sanction of the teaching management system is not enough;Second,the impact of lesson study is limited and the teacher training system is not perfect;Third,teachers’ professional quality is uneven;Fourth,teachers’ occupational happiness is not high;Fifth,the home-school cooperation is not deep;Sixth,students’ academic motivation is not strong.This study analyzes the causes of these problems and puts forward the solutions,which mainly include: refining the school management system and implementing the responsibility system;doing quality lesson study and improving the teacher training system;encouraging teachers to participate in online classes and foster life-long learning consciousness;simplifying the teachers’ clerical work,taking teaching quality as the main performance evaluation standard;establishing a learning community.
