countries,the population base is large,and the social education environment is still inadequate,small-class teaching,as one of the teaching organization forms under open education,has the flexibility to improve teaching quality and promote education.The characteristics of fairness and small-class teaching oriented by quality education are expedient and effective means to improve the overall level of social education at this stage.The realization of small-class education requires the corresponding foundation of the teaching space environment.This article takes space configuration as the focus and studies the design principles and design models that should be followed in the optimal design of the small-class teaching space in primary schools,laying the material environmental foundation for future schools to better achieve small-class education..A suitable teaching environment will stimulate the teaching status of both sides of the teaching and maximize the teaching effect.The form of quality education and small-class teaching will bring about multi-level innovations in teaching content,teaching methods and teaching forms,and the teaching space environment will also change accordingly.Through combing the literature,it is found that in terms of the benefits of small-class teaching and the establishment of small-scale teaching,foreign theoretical research and practical research have been very sufficient.Pilot teaching has also been conducted in China,and it can be concluded that small-class teaching is effective for improving the quality of education.And feasible.However,in the study of teaching space,most of the foreign literature is the study of the teaching space of open teaching,and the research on the space of small classes is relatively small.At
