Postgraduate training is an important part of my country’s higher education and the foundation of national development and social progress.Maintaining a good research motivation is an important prerequisite for graduate students to ensure the quality of study and research. The lack of research motivation will cause researchers to show a negative learning attitude towards the learning of scientific research knowledge and fail to maintain their learning behaviors, which will lead to the failure of graduate students to meet the society’s standards for high-level talents when they graduate. In order to improve the level of graduate students’ research and learning motivation, this research is based on the perspective of the TC(The Time Continuum Model)model, and conducts a research on the strategy design and practice of motivation stimulation for graduate students in the research training community. The specific research content is as follows:First, the survey of the current situation of graduate students’ research motivation.Based on the TC model, this study designed the "Questionnaire on the Status Quo of Graduate Students’ Research Motivation Level" to investigate the status quo of graduate students’ research and learning motivation. The survey results show that members have different degrees of low levels of motivation factors such as attitudes, needs, stimuli, emotions, abilities, and reinforcement. It is found that the current graduate students’ research studies have misconduct attitudes, learning content that cannot meet their learning needs, and lack of learning.Learning stimulus and positive learning emotion, low sense of ability and lack of timely feedback and other problems.Second, from the perspective of the TC model, the community members’ research and learning motivation promotion strategy design.According to the TC model theory, the learning process of graduate students in the scientific research training community is divided into three stages: the early stage, the middle stage, and the later stage.Combining the survey results of the status quo, design different stages of motivational strategies. In the early stage, establish a common goal of members, create a learning atmosphere, meet the learning needs of members, arrange learning plans reasonably, and provide necessary learning support;provide diversified learning resources, regular academic exchanges, encourage and compete coexistence, create a positive emotional atmosphere, and provide members in the mid-term Opportunities for cooperation;timely feedback, guide correct attribution, and appropriate rewards in the later stage.Third, the implementation and effect analysis of community members’ research and learning motivation promotion strategy under the TC model.According to the motivational strategies of the three learning stages, the members of the scientific research training community are carried out strategy implementation activities based on the learning activities of literature and research tools. In the end,the community members’ research motivation levels before and after the implementation of the activities are compared, and the changes in the dimensions of the community members’ motivation factors are analyzed. The results show that the implementation of the motivation strategy improves the community members’ overall research and learning motivation level. After the experiment, the members were interviewed for their gains, opinions and satisfaction with the activities. The results of the interviews showed that the implementation of the activities was recognized by the community members, and the community members were very satisfied with the activities, which verified the rationality of the strategy design.
