| Campus bullying is a high-profile issue on a global scale,which is related to the physical and mental health of young people’s growth,family stability and social harmony.In recent years,with the spread and fermentation of various online channels such as self-media,campus bullying incidents have become the focus of heated discussions in society.The framework of media news reports will affect the public’s cognitive construction and will also promote the follow-up trend of the event.As an online media focusing on current affairs and social livelihood,The Paper has strong dissemination and social influence in its reports on campus bullying.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to discuss how the surging news can correctly report presentation and value guidance on campus bullying incidents.This research is divided into five parts.The introduction part of the first chapter puts forward research questions on the basis of combing the domestic and foreign reports on campus bullying,and clarifies the theoretical value and practical significance of this topic.The second chapter summarizes the network communication characteristics of campus bullying incidents through a detailed analysis of the concept,characteristics and types of campus bullying.The third chapter selects The Paper’s news reports on campus bullying incidents from January 1,2016 to December 31,2020 as the research objects.It is based on the framework theory and stereotype theory,from the high-level structure and the middle-level structure respectively.,Low-level structure and frame effect four aspects to study it,analyze the characteristics of surging news related reports.Based on the empirical analysis,Chapter Four concludes that The Paper’s reports on campus bullying incidents have problems such as imbalance of report topics,anomie of narrative discourse,single presentation form,improper presentation of content,and biased reporting tendencies.Through the analysis of the causes of the problem,it is because the media producers’ responsibilities are out of place,the media professionals’ lack of professionalism,and commercial interests drive news choices.The fifth chapter proposes optimized countermeasures for the coverage of campus bullying incidents by The Paper from the three levels of content production,reporting form and media self-construction.The study found that in the network media communication environment,The Paper’s reporting framework on campus bullying incidents emphasized the immediacy of news,the sources of information have become diversified,and the interaction with the audience has become stronger.However,there are also problems such as the lack of depth of the report content and the urgent need to strengthen the quality of the report.This article expands the content of the framework theory based on the continuation of the previous research on the framework theory.In addition,the paper puts forward suggestions for improvement in response to the problems in the reporting of campus bullying incidents by The Paper,with a view to providing reference for future discussions on the relevant reports of online media. |
