The seventh Tibet working forum of the Central Committee and decisions of the State Council on accelerating modern vocational education development will boost modern vocational education to an unprecedented new height, reflecting the importance of improving vocational education to serve regional economic and social development. As an important part of vocational education,it is an urgent task for the society to develop vocational education. The guiding opinions on accelerating the development of secondary vocational education in Tibet and the four provinces and Tibet regions will promote secondary vocational education in Tibet and the four provinces through adjusting structure, expanding scale, supplementing teachers, and financing and establishing mechanisms. With the rapid development of tourism economy and the continuous improvement of tourism talents requirements, the problems of Vocational Tourism Education in professional construction and professional development are becoming more and more prominent. As one of the new educational ideas, the unique education of tour study is attracting more attention from the society.Provinces and cities have used their own resources and carried out various types of tour study activities in combination with local characteristics. However, due to Tibet’s unique social, natural and educational environment, tour study has not been carried out systematically and effectively in Tibet. In order to achieve the goal of better training students, more excellent talents will be injected into the society. With the guidance of embodied learning theory, this study studies the course of Tibet Tourism Geography learned by tourism majors in the second vocational school of Lhasa to understand students’ cognitive and learning problems in the actual teaching of the course.Combined with the concept of embodied learning theory and tour study, this study constructs the relevant theoretical model, and designs a complete set of tour study activities for the course of Tibet tourism geography. The program is expected to help secondary vocational students improve their cognitive level and learning ability of the course, and achieve better learning effect and training objectives.Through the method of literature research, this paper studies the researches of tour study, embodied learning theory and instructional design at home and abroad, summarizes the relationship among them, and constructs the instructional design model of research travel from the perspective of embodied learning. Then the paper uses classroom observation, questionnaire survey and interview method to investigate the current situation of related courses and students’ learning situation, analyzes the classroom perception, teaching effect and motivation of tour study participation of the course, and evaluates the learning situation of the course.Based on the current tour travel activity mode and the unique environment of Tibet Tour guide service,a program of tour study activities suitable for Lhasa secondary vocational education is designed for professional students to carry out the practice of teaching research travel activities.Through the investigation and research of related courses, the author found that the concept of tour study has not been effectively popularized in Tibet, and its importance has not been highlighted and valued. At the same time,it is found that students’ participation in the traditional classroom is low and there is certain cognitive difficulty, which makes it difficult for students to achieve the preset teaching objectives in the traditional classroom.Embodied learning theory emphasizes that students in the learning environment can achieve the active exploration and dynamic generation of knowledge through the interaction of brain and body, which is different from the previous passive learning. The unique situational, personal and experiential characteristics of tour study just meet the conditions for the emergence of embodied learning,so that students can achieve teaching objectives through personal participation and thinking in a unique learning environment.Combined with the relevant knowledge of embodied learning theory and taking the course teaching as the relevant carrier, this paper studies the practical teaching of "Tibet Tourism Geography" and the design of tour study, and explores the development path of tour study through the investigation and understanding of the current educational environment, social environment and natural environment in Tibet. To a certain extent,it enriches the practical teaching content and teaching means of secondary vocational education in Tibet,so as to improve the teaching environment and teachers’ teaching ability, and provide reference for tour study development in Tibet.
