Social Support Of Novel Coronavirus Pnuemonia In The Elderly

Since the 21st century,China has gradually stepped into aging.According to statistics,China’s population aged 60 and above will reach 255 million in 2020,accounting for about 17.8% of the total population.By 2050,the aging level will reach more than 30%.In 2020,the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak broke out in Hubei,and swept the country in the next two months.In this epidemic,the elderly,due to their age and poor resistance,are the most vulnerable groups to be infected by the virus.During the outbreak of the epidemic,the old support network of the elderly can not meet the needs of the elderly,which has a great impact on the physical and mental health of the elderly,resulting in many problems,and it is difficult to adapt to the new environment.Compared with the old social support network in the past,the old social support network during the outbreak of the epidemic has its particularity.In the face of the trend that the epidemic situation appears repeatedly and may become the outbreak period,we must pay attention to the research on the elderly social support network during the outbreak period.From the perspective of formal social support network,it is mainly reflected in the government,community and volunteers;from the perspective of informal social support,it is mainly reflected in the lack of family support and peer support.The social support network of the elderly needs to be reevaluated,and the causes of the problems are analyzed from the formal and informal aspects of social support network,and some suggestions are put forward.This study will define the time from January to October 2020.In novel coronavirus pneumonia,the social support network research can help elderly people adapt to the new environment of the epidemic,solve their physical and psychological problems,effectively help them link the social resources needed and maintain normal life.The novel coronavirus pneumonia was used to investigate the living conditions of the elderly in B community in a city.The problems were analyzed from the perspective of the formal social support network and informal social support network.The relevant suggestions were made for the construction of the elderly social support network during the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia.
