Impact Of Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia On Public Health Risk Perception And Emotional Health

This study investigated the risk perception characteristics of the public during the period of New Coronavirus pneumonia through questionnaires,and explored the relationship between the three factors,including risk perception,emotional health and positive coping styles.The research results enriched the research of health social work involved in public health emergencies,and provided better social hygiene for public workers in public health.To provide reference for medical service field and emergency management mechanism.In this study,the public’s risk perception is as an independent variable,the dependent variable is the positive emotion and negative emotion in emotional health,and the intermediary variable is the positive coping style.In novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak,the public was randomly sampled,and 4096 valid questionnaires were collected.Stata13.1 and spss21.0 were used to sort out and analyze the data of this study.ANOVA and t-test were used to analyze the status quo and relationship of risk cognition,positive and negative emotions and positive coping styles.The results showed that novel coronavirus pneumonia had a significant impact on emotional health during the outbreak of new crown pneumonia.Risk perception had a significant negative impact on positive emotions,and had a positive positive impact on negative emotions.Risk perception had a significant negative impact on positive coping styles;positive coping styles were negatively related to risk perception,positive emotion and risk perception.The influence of emotion plays a part of the intermediary role,that is,risk cognition has not only direct impact on emotional health,but also indirectly through positive coping.Research shows that novel coronavirus pneumonia is not only needed for social workers in the field of social work,but also for the public to promote rational knowledge of risks and timely and effectively conduct psychological counseling to relieve the psychological pressure.Novel coronavirus pneumonia should be encouraged and guided to take active measures to help them recover from the outbreak of the disease.
