Thematic activities,as the name implies,are educational activities that focus on a central content over a period of time.Thematic activities pay attention to the horizontal connection between the knowledge of various disciplines,and strive to make the knowledge of different disciplines organically linked together around the theme to form a whole,and hope to influence children with such holistic knowledge,and finally enable children to establish a complete internal knowledge structure.Themed activities are an overall trend,but there are still some problems in the concrete implementation process,such as the narrow source of theme design,and the inability to balance between preset curriculum and generated curriculum.In the process of the implementation of the theme there are five areas of combination and implementation is not in place.The form of thematic evaluation is simple and tends to formative evaluation.The purpose of this study is to start from the reality of the kindergarten themed activities in which the researchers are working,find out the existing problems,and draw on advanced educational concepts and practical research experience to explore the strategies to promote the development of the kindergarten themed activities.This paper is divided into three parts: The first part is the introduction,which summarizes the literature review on the theme activities,focuses on the importance of the implementation of the theme activities in kindergartens,and introduces the research methods used in this research.In the second part,two themes "fruit" and "ant" were selected,respectively,from the selection of the theme,the determination of the target content and evaluation of several aspects of the actual record.The third part describes the general situation of the theme activities in the kindergarten where the researcher is,and points out some problems existing in the practice of the kindergarten from three aspects:the design of the theme activities,the development and implementation of the theme activities,and the evaluation of the theme activities.The fourth part aims at the problems existing in the process of carrying out the theme activities of the kindergarten pointed out in the third part,draws on the theory and practice research of the existing theme activities,and puts forward possible strategies to solve the existing problems.
