| At present,as a form of higher education,entrepreneurial university is being valued by more and more countries and governments.In China,many universities have clearly put forward the strategic goal of building entrepreneurial universities,but there is still a huge gap between the vision and reality of the localization construction of entrepreneurial universities in China.From the perspective of the research level of higher education,Warwick University is a successful model of reference value for most colleges and universities in China to build entrepreneurial universities.Warwick University has become a first-class university in the UK since it was founded in 1965 with nothing.One of the starting points of its success in 60 years comes from the construction of teaching staff in the context of the development of entrepreneurial universities.Based on this,this paper will focus on the question of what kind of excellent quality the teachers of entrepreneurial university should have,select the case of Warwick University,scientifically identify the key elements of the teachers’ competency of entrepreneurial university,construct the teachers’ competency model of entrepreneurial university,and then put forward the corresponding training mechanism for the teachers’ innovation and entrepreneurship development of entrepreneurial university.This study extensively collects the literature about the competency of teachers in exploring the construction path of the Warwick University to develop an entrepreneurial university,and records the competency perception interviews of 16 professors from Warwick University.Based on the coding analysis of the interview text with the help of grounded theory,the elements of the competency of teachers in entrepreneurial universities are summarized step by step.According to the coding results,5 core elements and 18 secondary elements are separated,including teaching and education ability、academic research ability、collaborative innovation ability、achievement transformation ability and innovation and entrepreneurship characteristics,and the competency of teachers in entrepreneurial universities is formed Read the model.Through the statistical analysis of the word frequency of the identified elements,combined with the relevant texts and theories,this paper analyzes and expounds the model,and clarifies the relationship between the indicators in the model and the competency of teachers in entrepreneurial universities,so as to lay the foundation for proposing the path to improve the competency of Teachers in entrepreneurial universities.Finally,according to the competency model of entrepreneurial university teachers,combined with the actual situation of university transformation in China,five new directions of improving the quality and ability of entrepreneurial university teachers are proposed,which paves the way for the development of entrepreneurial university construction in China and provides scientific reference ideas. |
