| With the increase of economic development,more and more attention has been paid to secondary vocational education.The requirements of society for secondary vocational school graduates are no longer just the mastery of skills,but also begin to focus on students’ psychological quality and interpersonal skills.However,most secondary vocational students are in adolescence,who are at the stage of contradiction between open and closed interpersonal communication.Consequently,they desire to be understood so that others will open their hearts to them,but due to their self-esteem,their real thoughts are seldom exposed to others,leading to the phenomenon of social rejection.This kind of communication anxiety makes them more willing to spend most of their time on the use of social networks,thus tend to compare with people who are better than themselves.Based on the psychological and behavior mechanism of secondary vocational school students in social network,this study aims to explore the current situation,property and relationship among Interaction Anxiety,Upward Social Comparison,Self-esteem and Body Image Satisfaction of secondary vocational students in social network.1,500 questionnaires of Interaction Anxiousness Scale(IAS),Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Measure(INCOM),Self-Esteem Scale(SES)and Body Image States Scale(BISS)were distributed to four secondary vocational colleges in Fujian Province.After the screening,1,335 valid questionnaires were obtained,with an effective rate of 89%.The SPSS20.0 and process software were adopted to analysis the data,and the results are as follows:(1)The level of communication anxiety of secondary vocational school students shows a significant difference in the demographic variables of gender,and in the social network usage variables of the number of contacts;(2)The level of network upward social comparison of secondary vocational school students shows significant differences in demographic variables such as gender,student regions and age,and in the social network usage variables such as the frequency of social network use,the number of contacts and the realistic coincidence degree of friends in network;(3)The level of self-esteem of secondary vocational school students shows significant differences in gender demographic variable and network usage variable of social contacts;(4)Body image satisfaction of secondary vocational school students differs in gender demographic variable and social network usage variables of realistic coincidence degree of online friends in network;(5)Secondary vocational school students’ communication anxiety has a positive predictive effect on the network upward social comparison of social networks and self-esteem,self-esteem has a positive predictive effect on upward social comparison;secondary in social network;(6)Secondary vocational school students’ self-esteem plays an intermediary role in the influence of communication anxiety on upward social comparison in social network,and body image satisfaction can regulate the direct and indirect relationship between social anxiety and upward social comparison in social network. |
