Secondary vocational education is an important part of China’s vocational education system.The construction of textbooks in secondary vocational schools is inseparable from the training objectives of secondary vocational education and the implementation of school courses.With the rapid development of secondary vocational education,a variety of secondary vocational textbooks have gradually appeared on the market.However,the quality of these textbooks is uneven,and it is difficult to adapt to the teaching needs of vocational schools,which seriously hinders the development of secondary vocational education in China.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the construction of vocational teaching materials.This article takes the textbook of "Basic of Computer Application" in vocational school as the research object,conducts a comparative study on the content setting,writing style and production characteristics of the textbook by using text analysis method and comparative research method,and uses the questionnaire survey to investigate and analyze the use of teaching materials.After analysis,the problems in the current "Basic of Computer Application" textbook for secondary vocational schools are summarized: the content of the textbook is relatively lagging and out of touch with the development of the times;the content of the textbook is not sufficient,and teachers often need to supplement the teaching materials;the content of the textbook does not meet the learning needs of non-computer majors;the teaching materials supporting the teaching materials are not rich enough;most of the textbooks are not rich in expression;some textbooks have a single color,and the printing quality needs to be improved.Finally,analyze the reasons for these problems,and put forward strategies to improve the compilation of vocational school textbooks: relevant government departments should increase the emphasis on vocational textbooks,standardize the basis for textbook compilation,stipulate the qualification standards for compiling personnel,and strengthen the construction of textbook management system,established a school-enterprise cooperation textbook writing committee,establish a vocational education textbook compilation and exchange platform;schools should actively introduce incentives,prepare school textbook construction planning programs,plan textbook compilation and review content,strengthen ties with industry and enterprises,increase support for textbook compilation,establish textbook selection agencies,and prefer national and provincial planning textbooks;writers should establish a reasonable concept of textbook compilation,optimize the structure of the writing team,rich textbook expression,and build three-dimensional textbooks;students should promptly feedback the use of textbooks.
