The Reserch On Yu Zizhen’s Physical Education Thought

Physical educationists’ thoughts on physical education originate from their "thinking" about physical education,which is one of the contents concerned and valued by the field of physical education and research.Yu Zizhen was born in Dongzhi County,Anhui Province,a local sports educator in modern Anhui Province.He has been working in grassroots teaching units in Anhui Province for most of his life and devoted himself to basic physical education.He has published more than 60 papers on physical education and scientific research in well-known domestic sports journals and magazines at that time,and more than 30 books on physical education.During the period of the Republic of China has produced a certain reputation,known as the "old China’s most famous primary school physical education teachers." The life course of Mr.Yu Zizhen,who has been rooted at the grass-roots level and focused on basic physical education for decades,as well as the research results full of local flavor and characteristics of The Times,are still a rare treasure.Through the methods of literature,expert interview,oral history and logical analysis,this paper systematically sorts out and seriously explores Mr.Yu Zizhen’s physical education thoughts formed in his physical education teaching practice and theoretical research career.It aims to draw beneficial nutrients from the theoretical level and enrich the research content of local education history and sports history.This paper discusses the value and significance of basic physical education from the perspective of practice,and seeks a way to solve the practical problems in the development of school physical education.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Mr.Yu Zizhen was a physical education expert who was born and grew in Anhui Province in modern times.He devoted most of his working life to the basic physical education,and made extraordinary achievements in the ordinary post of physical education teacher in primary and middle schools.What’s more,on the basis of the long-term physical education practice and research,he formed his own system of physical education thought,which is worth the attention and exploration of educators and researchers.(2)The formation of Yu Zizhen’s physical education thought has a specific practical and theoretical basis.Yu Zizhen’s study experience in special times and abundant basic physical education teaching practice laid a solid practical foundation for the formation of his physical education thought.Yu zizhen was influenced by the pragmatism and naturalism of physical education and the atmosphere of attaching equal importance to "learning" and "technique" in his personal growth,which was the key theoretical basis for the formation of his physical education thought.(3)The connotation of Yu Zizhen’s thoughts on physical education can be analyzed and summarized into five aspects:Take basic physical education teaching as the center;With the goal of sports rejuvenation and national salvation;Systematic teaching of sports games;The scientization of physical education teaching;The combination of physical education teaching practice and theoretical research.(4)Yu Zizhen’s physical education thought has important practical enlightenment for the current physical education teaching.First,we should attach importance to the foundation value of basic physical education for the healthy development of school physical education.Secondly,we should recognize the positive effect of physical education curriculum on the construction of the ideological and political system of school curriculum.Third,attention should be paid to the special value of multiple education in sports game teaching;Fourthly,physical education teaching should follow the scientific development direction;Fifthly,the significance of basic physical education research should be made clear.
