Sports dance,which integrates sports with music and dance,can not only be healthy and pleasant,but also conducive to the development of students' physical and mental health,also can adapt to the development and the demand of basic physical education under the new curriculum.Whether from aesthetic education or physical education aspects,sports dance is one of the important manifestations of the basic education.It is the trend to enrich and improve the content of sports courses as sports courses for basic education are diversified.It is the inevitable choice to realize sports curriculum content diversity to guide students to change the fashionable sports into safety and beneficial teaching content.The development of sports dance in basic education is in line with this trend.Nowadays,it is necessary to analyze and study the present situation of sports dance in basic education,and then improve the content of sports dance in basic education,as sports dance goes to the daily life of college students rapidly.This paper investigates the status quo of the sports dance courses in 20 primary schools and junior middle schools in Longquanyi district by means of literature,logic analysis,investigation and mathematical statistics.In order to improve the teaching effect of the sports dance course in basic education,to optimize the provision,to provide theoretical basis and reference,this paper chooses the curriculum content selection model by using the analytic hierarchy process.Through the investigation and research,it is concluded that:(1)There are only seven primary schools in Longquanyi district that have sports dance course,which is based on post-class sports training.All these seven schools are lack of professional training ground and sports dance teachers.And the majority of students hope that men and women teachers teaching together,which is difficult because of the imbalance ofmale and female teachers.(2)Schools whose teaching objectives is to complete the gold,silver and bronze action account for 71.4%;29.2% of the students are not satisfied with the single teaching content and uneven dance classes;There is a contradiction between few hours and too much dance content.(3)By calculating the evaluation results of the teaching content selection principle,we can see that the principle of selecting the teaching content should be rationally selected according to the fitness ratio of the fitness: health> interest> feasibility> basic>science.(4)The result calculated by the analytic hierarchy process shows that: the order for the rationality to the teaching content of dance classes should be: precisely,waltz,lamba,cowboy,vienna,fast,samba,bullfighting,tango and fox-trot.
