| STEM education can promote the development of students’ higher-order thinking ability and reserve talents for the future development of the country.For a country,STEM achievements in science,technology,mathematics,and engineering have become the key to the development of global core competitiveness.In the future,STEM concepts will continue to produce important values in all aspects of social development.Building block games are a kind of game that young children love to play and are often carried out in kindergartens.Building block games can promote children’s learning and development in many aspects.Nowadays,STEM education has become a hot spot in education research.First of all,from the perspective of the scope of research objects,most of the relevant research on STEM education is concentrated in the primary and secondary school stages,and less in the pre-school stage.Secondly,from the perspective of the time dimension of research,STEM education has only really been favored by researchers in recent years.At the same time,related research on building block games under the STEM concept has also shown a rapid upward trend.However,STEM research in the early childhood stage and building block games under the STEM concept still need to be enriched and expanded.In addition,the game’s time,space,materials,and teachers’ guidance strategies are still the main problems in the implementation of the building block game.The existence of these problems will directly lead to the difficulty of improving the level of children in building block games,and the inability to effectively play the value of building block games in the development of children.This is contrary to the value of building block games in the development of children.This research studies children’s building block games under the concept of STEM education.The materials used are kindergarten primary color unit building blocks and a set of large and small wooden balls and other auxiliary materials.Class D is selected as the research object in Y kindergarten,and the method of action research is used.A three-round practice study of building block games was carried out.Two propositions were selected to build the themes according to the actual situation of the children in the class: "Building Tall Buildings" and "Tracks and Slopes".The "Tracks and Slopes" theme activities were organized and implemented twice.During the first round of the organization and implementation of the theme of "Building Tall Buildings",we will reflect on whether the general problems in the building block game have been improved and resolved.At the same time,we will reflect on the problems arising from the use of the 4C model to develop the building block game under the STEM concept,and follow The nature of the problem proposes directions for improvement.In the second round of implementation of the theme of "Tracks and Slope",practice was carried out according to the problems and improvement directions in the first round,and on this basis,the improvement strategies were summarized and new problems and improvement directions were proposed,which were the basis of the previous two rounds of practice.The third round of practice was carried out on the Shanghai,and a certain amount of experience was summed up.Finally,the research conclusions are drawn,including that the teacher’s STEM education ability is the key to organizing the building block game under the STEM concept,the teacher’s guidance strategy is the focus of the organization of the building block game under the STEM concept,and the support of the kindergarten is the organization of the building block game under the STEM concept.Guarantee etc.At the same time,on the basis of the research conclusions,relevant suggestions were put forward from teachers and kindergartens. |
