Negative emotion is a kind of negative emotional experience which is opposite to positive emotion and makes individuals feel anxiety, depression, anger, fear and so on.Almost all negative emotions can cause adverse reactions and maladjustment, major disasters such as novel coronavirus pneumonia are more likely to cause negative emotions. At present, voluntary service in China has become an important way for citizens to participate in social welfare undertakings and social governance.,with the increasing number of volunteers and their organizations, volunteers have played an important role in many social fields, such as social rescue, community governance and so on.Since the outbreak of the epidemic, community volunteers have actively participated in the prevention and control of the epidemic, which has made great achievements in China’s anti epidemic and prevention. At the same time,in the face of sudden, rapid spread of the epidemic and a strong workload, the mental health of community volunteers has also attracted more attention of scholars.Coping style and resilience,as the mechanism of individual action, can mediate behavior and adapt to changes when facing stress events or various stress events;coping style and resilience play an important role in individual mental health and emotion regulation, and they are also important factors influencing individual negative emotion. In this study,375 urban and rural community volunteers from Sichuan,Chongqing,Beijing,Heilongjiang and Hubei provinces were selected as the research objects;coping style scale,Resilience Scale and negative emotion scale were used as research tools;SPSS22.0 software was used to analyze the demographic differences and the relationship among coping style, resilience and negative emotion of community volunteers.,the mediating effect of resilience was further explored by using the method of PRECESS plug-in mediating variable test. The main conclusions are as follows: 1.The score of negative emotion of community volunteers participating in the anti epidemic volunteer service was in the middle level, and the score of negative emotion of men was lower than that of women, the negative emotion of 18-29 years old youth is higher than that of other age groups, the score of negative emotion of volunteers with high annual income is lower than that of volunteers with poor economic status;2.the community volunteers who participated in the anti epidemic volunteer service generally adopted positive coping styles, the positive coping style of male volunteers is higher than that of female volunteers, and the negative coping style of older volunteers is higher than that of other age groups;3.the level of resilience of community volunteers participating in anti epidemic volunteer service is good, the scores of men’s resilience and each dimension were higher than those of women, and the resilience of volunteers with high annual family income was higher than that of volunteers with low annual family income;4.The positive coping style and negative emotion of community volunteers participating in the anti epidemic volunteer service have a significant negative correlation, the negative coping style and negative emotion have a significant positive correlation, and the psychological resilience and negative emotion have a significant negative correlation;5.the coping style and resilience of community volunteers participating in anti epidemic volunteer service can significantly predict negative emotions;6.the resilience of community volunteers participating in anti epidemic volunteer service plays a mediating role in the relationship between coping style and negative emotion. Finally, based on the perspective of social work practice, this study puts forward some feasible suggestions from the two levels of individual community volunteers and community,to provide better professional support and services for the psychological and emotional status of community volunteers, and to create a harmonious and friendly community development environment for volunteers, improve their coping styles and psychological resilience, and reduce the possibility of negative emotions.
