It is an important part of the development of rural education and the strategy of rural revitalization to build a team of excellent rural teachers who have the "nostalgia" quality and can survive.In 2016,Jiangsu Province established the “Oriental Training for Rural Teachers”program,which has formed a new model of orientation training for normal students by integrating new ideas of future teacher training and rural teacher training.Based on the in-depth interviews,this study builds a geo-orientation teacher consisting of five first-level indicators(nostalgia,teacher ethics,education literacy,geography literacy and self-development literacy)and 18 secondary indicators.Student teacher self-evaluation index system.Through the interviews and questionnaire surveys of rural geography teachers in the geography science specialty of Huaiyin Teachers College,and using SPSS and Arc GIS software for statistical analysis and spatial expression,the basic characteristics and existing problems of self-evaluation of geography teacher normal students’ literacy are obtained..The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The self-evaluation of teachers’ literacy in geography orientation teachers is generally higher,but the understanding of nostalgia literacy is still insufficient;(2)spatial distribution,the sources of syllabus in Subei,Suzhong and southern Jiangsu are different in literacy index.There are certain differences.The self-evaluation of students in the north of Jiangsu Province in geography and literacy is higher than that in Suzhong and Sunan,but it is lower than that in Suzhong and Sunan in the self-evaluation of nostalgia,teacher literacy and self-development literacy;In terms of the difference between urban and rural areas,geography-oriented normal students from rural areas generally have higher evaluations of their own teachers’ literacy than urban students.(3)Comparing students in different academic years,the relationship between the length of time spent in school and the self-evaluation of students’ teachers’ quality Larger,the longer the length of study,the higher the self-evaluation;(4)The self-evaluation of geography-oriented normal students in teacher literacy and education professional literacy is relatively low,and there is no significant improvement with the increase of school education years..Aiming at the basic characteristics and problems of teacher self-evaluation,this paper puts forward the main strategies of geo-orientation teachers to improve teachers’ literacy from the perspectives of geography orientation teacher enrollment,training and individual students.This study constructs a geography-oriented teacher-student literacy evaluation index system that incorporates the "nostalgia" literacy,and has certain innovation in the research content and evaluation index system.At the same time,this study takes the "hometown" into the teacher’s literacy as the starting point,and conducts research on Jiangsu’s orientation of normal students rather than ordinary normal students,and has certain characteristics in the research perspective.
