To do a good job in guiding the ideological and public opinion of the communist party of China,to create a good public opinion environment,and to consolidate and strengthen the mainstream ideological and public opinion are the major tasks in governing the country.As an important task of the party's propaganda and ideological work,in different historical periods,the Chinese communists have made exposition based on different time background in the Marxist time domain for ideological and public opinion guidance.Now our country has entered a new era with a new historical position of development-socialism with Chinese characteristics.During this period,profound changes have been taken place in the society as a whole,and the major social contradictions in our country have changed too.The transformation and developments in various fields causes the collision of various ideas.Based on this background,the study on the guidance of ideological and public opinion is not only of new significance to this topic,but also more conducive to guiding the actual work.General Secretary Xi Jinping said at the National Conference on Propaganda and Ideological Work: We should grasp the correct direction of public opinion,improve the dissemination,guidance,influence and credibility of news public opinion,and consolidate and strengthen mainstream ideological public opinion.Nowadays,the development of science and technology promotes the self-revolution in the media field,and media convergence has become a national strategy.In the new era of financial media environment,the development of ideological and public opinion guidance is affected by the diversification of public opinion subjects and the change of public opinion guidance pattern.The repeated occurrence of online public opinion events that have aroused widespread public attention and produced many adverse social effects has sounded the alarm bell for us.It shows us that the mainstream ideology currently existing in the ideological and public opinion guidance work is weak in propaganda,and the social mobilization function is increasingly strong but lacks guidance and shows emotional characteristics.Ideological and public opinion guidance work is facing greater challenges while achieving certain results.Starting from the discipline perspective of ideological and political education,this paper studies under the guidance of Xi Jinping's series of important speeches on the work of news and public opinion and propaganda and ideological work,and understands the relevant theories abroad and the current research situation at home through the method of literature research.Combing the relevant concepts of ideological and public opinion guidance and their development context in the Marxist perspective.This paper introduces a case study of public opinion hot spots,deeply discusses the current situation of ideological and public opinion guidance in our country under the environmentof financial media,explores the main contents of ideological and public opinion guidance in the new era on the basis of further clarifying the task requirements,and puts forward different paths such as integrating public opinion guidance into the overall strategy of national governance,cutting in from multiple dimensions,strengthening ideological and political education as the foundation of ideological and public opinion guidance,so as to effectively improve the effectiveness of ideological and public opinion guidance.
