In recent years,China’s sports industry has achieved rapid development,people’s concern and enthusiasm for sports participation has been greatly improved,and the scale of professional athletes has been expanding.With the rapid development of sports,the employment of professional athletes has aroused widespread concern.Chongqing is located in the western region of China.The development of economy,culture,education and sports has reached the middle rank in China.In the context of the expansion of the scale of athletes,the limited counterpart positions are difficult to meet the employment needs of many professional athletes after retirement,and the employment placement problem of professional athletes in Chongqing is becoming increasingly prominent.Under the background of the new era,great changes have taken place in China’s sports employment placement policy.The employment of professional athletes after retirement is no longer "arranged" by the state.Whether the professional athletes’ employment placement is appropriate directly affects the quality of life of professional athletes,and has a certain impact on the development of the whole sports industry.If the problem of athletes’ employment placement can not be effectively solved The quality of life of athletes can not be guaranteed enough,the enthusiasm of the people to participate in sports will be hit,and the sustainable development of the whole sports will be adversely affected.By studying the practical difficulties of professional athletes’ employment placement in Chongqing,we can find the problems existing in the current practice of professional athletes’ employment placement,which is helpful to solve the problem of professional athletes’ employment placement in Chongqing.In the research process of the practical dilemma of professional athletes’ employment placement in Chongqing,based on the theoretical knowledge of sociology,sports and other disciplines,this paper uses the methods of literature,questionnaire survey,interview,data statistics,logical analysis and other research methods to sort out the current professional athletes’ employment placement policy in Chongqing,and analyzes the current situation of professional athletes’ employment placement in Chongqing This paper analyzes the existing problems and reasons of professional athletes’ employment placement,and finally puts forward the corresponding improvement countermeasures on this basis.(1)Through the investigation,the paper finds out the defects of the employment placement policy for professional athletes in Chongqing,which are mainly reflected in the inability to meet the long-term development of professional athletes,the lack of comprehensive security for professional athletes in Chongqing’s current social security system,the inability of the athletes’ training mode to meet the needs of employment,the poor communication among family members,and the lack of necessary planning and safety for athletes’ career There are five aspects.(2)This paper analyzes the causes of the employment placement problems of professional athletes in Chongqing,including the government departments do not pay attention to it,the defects in the system and mechanism,the lack of job placement policies,the failure to treat disabled athletes and outstanding athletes differently,the imperfect construction of social insurance and sports talent market,the excessive pursuit of sports performance by schools and sports teams,and the lack of professional training for athletes Career planning is lack of necessary guidance,family support needs to be improved,most athletes’ employment tendency is sports related jobs.(3)The paper puts forward targeted suggestions from five aspects of policy,social security system,school education,family atmosphere building and career planning,in which the policy level includes employment support policy,economic compensation policy and cultural education policy;the social security system includes basic insurance system,commercial insurance system and talent insurance system Market construction;school training mode includes increasing attention,adopting flexible education methods,and encouraging continuing education;family atmosphere construction includes strengthening family members’ communication and active employment;career planning includes introducing social forces,strengthening athletes’ guidance,and broadening interests.
