Game is an important means for children to acquire knowledge,which is conducive to the healthy development of children’s body and mind.The guiding outline of kindergarten education points out that "we should respect the law of children’s physical and mental development and learning characteristics,and take games as the basic activities","the organization of educational activities should pay attention to comprehensiveness,interest and activity,which are embodied in life and games." As an activity that meets the needs of children’s physical and mental development,learning art in the game can not only let children freely play their personality,feel the happiness of free creation and obtain successful experience,but also let children discover and feel the beauty in life,so as to improve the taste of beauty.However,there are still many deficiencies in the implementation of game teaching in kindergarten art activities.Based on this,this paper takes Xi’an X kingdergarten middle class as an example,discusses the problems and causes of implementation of game teaching in kindergarten middle class art activities,and puts forward improvement strategies,in order to improve teachers’ art teaching ability and kindergarten art education quality.Based on the cognitive development game theory,Scaffolding Teaching Theory and children’s art development theory,this paper mainly adopts the observation method,focusing on the game teaching content,game teaching environment,game teaching implementation and game teaching evaluation,to observe and analyze the implementation status of nine art teaching activities in Xi’an X kingdergarten middle class;Supplemented by the interview method,taking four middle class teachers as the interviewees,this paper analyzes the problems and causes of the implementation of game teaching in kindergarten middle class art activities from the aspects of game teaching concept and goal,game teaching content,game teaching organization and implementation.The results show that: X kingdergarten middle class teachers recognize the game teaching and have the game teaching consciousness,but there are the following problems in the game teaching goal,content,environment,implementation and evaluation: in the teaching goal,the game teaching of teachers focuses on knowledge and skills,but does not pay enough attention to emotion;in the teaching content,the game teaching theme and content selection is single,and the game teaching method is simple.in the teaching environment,the number of game materials is not enough and the types are not rich;the space design and time arrangement of game activities are not scientific and can not meet the independent development of children.In the process of teaching organization and implementation,teachers play a leading role,ignoring children’s creative experience;teachers lack appropriate guidance,children’s game experience is insufficient;the effect of organization and implementation is poor.In terms of teaching evaluation,the teacher evaluation method is single,ignoring the development evaluation of children;the evaluation is mainly collective evaluation,lack of personalized evaluation.At the same time,from the kindergarten,teachers and children to explore the reasons: first,the traditional knowledge-based teaching concept affects the design of game teaching objectives;second,the kindergarten teaching resources are not rich,leading to the lack of suitability of game teaching environment creation and utilization;third,the lack of game teaching literacy of teachers,leading to the lack of effectiveness of its guidance and intervention;fourth,the kindergarten teaching resources are not rich Children’s cognitive style and lack of experience affect the effect of game teaching.Accordingly,this paper puts forward five suggestions to improve the quality of game teaching in kindergarten art activities: first,kindergarten should improve teachers’ game teaching quality and create a suitable game teaching environment.We should fully implement the training plan,improve teachers’ game teaching literacy,create a suitable material environment to stimulate children’s interest in independent exploration,and create a suitable humanistic environment to meet children’s personalized creation needs.Second,teachers should establish a comprehensive game teaching concept and improve their teaching guidance ability.We should establish a comprehensive concept of game teaching,enrich children’s emotional experience,improve the guiding ability of game teaching,and guide children to actively participate in teaching activities.Thirdly,we should respect children’s interests and needs and choose appropriate game teaching content.Make full use of kindergarten based teaching resources,enrich the game teaching content;excavate the conjunction of art activities and children’s game activities to meet children’s creative needs.Fourth,we should give full play to children’s subjectivity and explore the effective integration strategy of games in art activities.Enrich children’s art experience and life experience,teacher child symbiosis game teaching content;respect children’s autonomy,flexible use of game teaching methods.Fifth,pay attention to children’s creative process and emotional experience to meet the personalized development of children.Pay attention to formative evaluation,stimulate children’s enthusiasm for independent creation;diversified evaluation subjects,cultivate children’s ability of communication and cooperation;pay attention to children’s personalized work display,enhance children’s self-confidence.
