English is an international language. As the development of the culture, learning English has become a part of people’s life. People who are tending to learn English have been younger and younger. Parents are eager to let their children to learn English. For this reason, a number of kindergartens have started to teach English. Because of the lacking of professional standard, the educational level in preschool English teaching is quite low in our country. In the real class teaching, we can find that the methods are not diversity, and the content is used in elementary schools. Children love games, and games are the basic activities in kindergartens. Applying games in preschool English teaching matches children’s mental and physical characters. And it is good for children to learn English.For enhancing the English teaching class and promoting the development of preschool English education, this thesis is using observational method, interviewing method and case analysis method to verify the circumstance of the preschool English teaching. After doing the research, we can find that teachers don’t care about the games and they don’t really know how to choose the right games. English classes are lacking of games and even in the game, children are not using English. In the typical cases analysis, games are not easy to play and lacking of fair. Here’s the advices: first, teachers need to improve themselves; second, kindergartens should make out a professional standard; third, giving teachers practical advices; forth, promote the training for the teachers.
