Play is the basic way of children’s activities.The effective integration of games into mathematics teaching activities not only conforms to children’s age characteristics,but also can stimulate children’s interest in mathematics learning.Because of its logical and abstract characteristics,it causes some children’s difficulties in the process of mathematics learning.Teaching games play a positive role in promoting the development of children’s symbolic thinking ability.Therefore,this study takes teaching games as the research direction,uses observation,interviews and other methods to investigate and analyze the implementation of middle class mathematics teaching games,and puts forward improvement strategies for problems,in order to provide reference for front-line teachers to carry out teaching games.In this study,six middle classes in three public kindergartens in J City were observed for 60 class hours,and 12 teachers were interviewed.The results show that the main problems in the implementation of middle class mathematics teaching games are as follows: low achievement of teaching game objectives,improper selection of teaching game content,unreasonable creation of game environment,loose organization and implementation of teaching games,and insufficient game guidance ability of teachers.Combined with interviews and observation,the main reasons for the above problems are:teachers’ weak sense of goal;teachers’ insufficient ability to design teaching;teachers’ improper use of teaching game materials;teachers’ lack of experience and spirit in organizing teaching games;teachers’ weak sense of reflection.According to the problems and reasons of using teaching games in middle class mathematics teaching activities,this paper advance some targeted strategies.In the aspect of teaching game goal setting: attach importance to the integrity of teaching game goal,the individual differences of children,and the cultivation of children’s mathematical ability and quality.In the selection of teaching game content: choose the life of teaching game content,and choose the appropriate teaching game content.Establishing teaching game environment: create a suitable space environment for children,and provide a variety of game materials,create a free psychological environment.In terms of teaching game organization: teachers should establish a correct view of children’s game,strengthen the planning of teaching game organization,and improve the effectiveness of teaching game organization.In the aspect of teaching game guidance,grasp the timing of teaching game guidance,choose the appropriate way of teaching game guidance,and grasp the "degree" of teaching game guidance.
