Labor education contains rich educational wisdom,which is not only an important content in the educational policy,but also the basic path to achieve educational purposes.Today,the present situation of comprehensive education function of labor education reflects the gap between educational ideal and school practice.People are gradually paying attention to the problem that the function of labor education is not accurately.Now,the implementation of labor education faces many challenges.To bring into the comprehensive education function of school labor education encountered realistic difficulties.Therefore,this study grasps the meaning of comprehensive education function of labor education in the new era;and pay attention to the performance about it;analyze the realistic dilemma and value crisis;clarify the original state and real situation;explore the strategy of school labor education to promote students’ all-round development.Based on this,cultivate the whole person.Theory needs to be combined with reality.Therefore,this study took three primary schools in W City as the objects of investigation.Focus on the following areas:the basic situation of the school being investigated;teachers’ understanding of the comprehensive education function of labor education;the condition,action content,implementation effect and development expectation of the comprehensive education function of labor education in schools.Then the questionnaire and interview outline were prepared.Finally,the field investigation was carried out.The main problems identified by the survey are as follows:it is not clear to the concept of comprehensive education of labor education;labor curriculum lacks systematic construction;the comprehensive education level of labor education teachers is lacking;there is no excellent organization and management to ensure that the school implements the comprehensive education function of labor education.It should be noted that there are many reasons for this.It is certain that these problems are caused by both historical and practical reasons.As far as subjective factors are concerned,the unclear orientation of labor education in comprehensive education affects the arrangement and implementation of education content.People’s thinking about labor education is solidified,which further restricts the exploration and innovation of education methods.From the objective factor,the reason is that the system of labor education management mechanism is not perfect.Therefore,the monitoring and promoting role of educational management mechanism cannot be well played.This study believes that there are the following strategies to effectively develop the comprehensive education function of labor education.The main recommendations are as follows : first,establish the idea of comprehensive education through labor;take the thought of all-round development of human as the guiding ideology;perfect the understanding of comprehensive education function of labor education.Second,promote the construction of labor education curriculum and grasp the comprehensive characteristics about it;guarantee the curriculum status and basic class hour requirements of labor education;enrich the curriculum content and optimize the practical methods of labor education.Thirdly,the evaluation system of labor quality should be consistent with the comprehensive education function of labor education;make the process of labor education more standardized.Fourthly,enhance the comprehensive education ability of labor education teachers;and we should not only train professional teachers,but also supplement corresponding incentive system.Fifthly,it is necessary to perfect the management system of labor education and consolidate the material conditions of labor education;so that the practice of labor education is guaranteed by system.
