| Cultural self-confidence is an inherent requirement for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Traditional Chinese sports culture,as an important part of Chinese traditional culture,bears a new historical mission under the background of the new era.Course teaching is an important means to enhance PE major college students’ cultural self-confidence.The thesis studies the influence of bilingual course "Traditional Chinese Sports" on the cultural self-confidence of PE major college students in 2019,2020 and 2021,and analyzes the text of the course perceptions of the graduate students who took the course that year before and after class.Based on the three-year data,use NVivo qualitative analysis software to construct the course’s influence index on the cultural self-confidence of PE major college students,and analyze the influence of the course on the cultural self-confidence of PE major college students.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The influence of bilingual course "Traditional Chinese Sports" on students’ cultural self-confidence is mainly reflected in cultural cognition,emotional identity and behavioral orientation.2.Through three-year follow-up research,students’ cultural cognition,emotional identity and behavioral orientation of the excellent Chinese culture have been significantly improved after completing the course.The course is obviously positively correlated with the improvement of students’ cultural self-confidence.3.Cultural cognition mainly includes three nodes of cognitive project content,development history,and cultural value.All three nodes have been improved,which is manifested in a significant improvement in the comprehensiveness and depth of cognition.4.Emotional identification mainly includes two nodes of positive emotion and negative emotion.Studies have shown that positive emotions have always accounted for a relatively high proportion before and after class,and have improved after the completion of the course.Negative emotions tend to be zero.5.Behavioral orientation mainly includes three nodes of cultural inheritance,dialogue integration and innovation development.Through course learning,students’ enthusiasm for cultural inheritance,dialogue integration and innovation development has been significantly improved.Their awareness of cultural dissemination and communication has been strikingly enhanced,and they consciously implement that in cross-cultural communication.6.The courses are taught in English and Chinese.While interpreting and analyzing the culture itself,the courses pay attention to the learning and mastery of students’ cultural dissemination methods,which can effectively improve the language ability and communication level of college students in cross-cultural communication and dissemination,and enhance their self-confidence and sense of responsibility in cultural dissemination.Students’ emotional identity and behavioral tendencies have been remarkably improved through cross-cultural communication activities set up in the courses.Bilingual teaching is an effective way to enhance PE major college students’ cultural confidence and promote the inheritance and dissemination of traditional national sports culture. |
