| Preschool education is the initial stage of school education system,which plays an important role in the process of individual development and lifelong education.China’s preschool education has achieved rapid development in recent years.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that new progress should be made in “child rearing”.However,due to the historical problem of “too much debt and weak foundation” in preschool education itself,and the constraints of various new influencing factors in the new period,the contradiction between supply and demand of preschool education has intensified,which makes the development of preschool education face more challenges and the problems of low quality and short supply of preschool education resources are increasingly prominent.Therefore,how to break through the bottleneck of the development of preschool education in the new era is an urgent problem to be solved by the state and governments at all levels.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the development of preschool education,this paper summarizes the development of preschool education from the aspects of supply subject,financial supply,teacher supply and system supply.Starting from the perspective of supply side reform,this paper focuses on how to carry out the supply side reform in the field of preschool education,and sums up the problems existing in the development of preschool education,such as the imbalance of supply subject structure,the unreasonable structure of fund input,the low quality of teacher supply and the imperfect system supply.Combined with the theory of public goods,this paper points out the shortcomings of the government in public service function of education,and uses the methods of literature research,comparative analysis and data analysis to explore the causes of the supply problems of preschool education.Based on the successful experience of preschool education reform in some areas of China and the advanced experience of Japan,OECD countries,the United States and other developed countries,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on the supply side reform of preschool education in China from the aspects of optimizing the main supply structure,improving the fund supply guarantee mechanism,improving the quality of teacher supply and perfecting the system supply system. |
