Research On Social Integration Of Disabled Adolescents By Group Work

As a special group in the society,the disabled can not be compared with the normal people in terms of food,clothing,housing,transportation,education,employment and social interaction.Nowadays,despite the increasing attention and services provided by the community and society for the disabled,there are still multiple obstacles to their social integration.Disabled adolescents are unique in the disabled group,and they have more plasticity,stronger learning ability and adaptability.However,they also have problems of social exclusion and integration difficulties.Social work,due to its professionalism and scientificity,as well as its professional ethics and professional skills,is very conducive to providing solutions to the problems of social integration for the disabled and helps them better integrate into society.This paper uses the group work method of social work to study the social integration of disabled adolescents in urban communities.Based on the theory of regression and social support network,this paper analyzes and discusses the social integration of disabled adolescents in L community of Hefei City.According to the survey records and relevant materials,this paper analyzes the situation and reasons of the social integration of disabled teenagers in L community from five aspects of rehabilitation,education,employment,love and marriage and psychology,and at the same time uses group work method to provide services.This paper consists of four parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the significance and background of the topic,the relevant literature review,the author’s research methods and research ideas.The second chapter introduces the basic situation of L community and the situation of social integration of the disabled and analyzes the reasons.The third chapter is the practice process of group work involving the social integration of the disabled,and introduces the specific service process of group work in detail.The fourth chapter is the conclusion and suggestion,that is,the effect of social work on the social integration of the disabled and the countermeasures to promote the social integration of the disabled.This paper reflects on the existing problems of social integration services for disabled adolescents,and puts forward relatively reasonable suggestions for development.Hope that this group work intervention that can improve the disabled youth social intercourse ability,broaden their social support network,and increase disability adolescent identity and belonging,strengthen their self-confidence,eventually help set up a positive and optimistic attitude towards life,achieve the goal of,to integrate into the others.
