Research On Social Work Intervening In The Governance Of Old Urban Communities

The macro-society is constructed by micro-communities,and the stability of the country cannot be separated from the stability of the community.Since the Ministry of Civil Affairs proposed to innovate social governance models and improve governance capabilities,how to effectively carry out governance work through communities,activate the new impetus of urban old communities,and make them follow the wave of modern community governance will become even more important.Topics of more research value.As an important force participating in social governance,social work has an irreplaceable advantage for other departments.Taking the N community in Hefei as an example,this article focuses on the role and impact of social work participating in the governance of the old N community,and realizes the sustainability of the old urban community by summarizing the governance experience.The study found that the N community in Hefei is facing a multifaceted governance dilemma: the administrative functions and powers of the community neighborhood committees,the low remuneration of community social workers and the lack of quality and ability,the weak sense of the community,insufficient participation,and imbalance of the participants.Among them,social work,as the main body of governance,is mainly faced with problems such as lack of status,shortage of talents,and insufficient professional performance.Combining the problem,through the analysis of the operation mode and specific practice of the N community government purchasing social work service projects in Hefei,the author puts forward relevant suggestions from three aspects: First,at the government level,it is necessary to attach importance to and develop the social work profession and affirm its profession Value,increase publicity to improve professional status,increase project investment,and improve relevant laws and regulations;secondly,at the community level,it is necessary to actively accept the involvement of social work professionals,build an equal communication mechanism,and clarify community neighborhood committees and social workers Finally,at the level of social workers,it is necessary to formulate a reasonable training mechanism to ensure the professional quality of social workers’ services,improve the evaluation system of institutions to mobilize the enthusiasm of social workers,actively explore new areas of social work services,and increase exposure to local communities.The excavation and training of worker talents.
