Speed in recent years,the development of institutions of higher learning in China is obvious to all,the development of high speed make these colleges and universities on the covers an area of increasing,the campus buildings is also increasing,the complexity of the campus navigation is also rising,because of this,we are hoping to have a can not only achieve efficient also can do accurate campus navigation application,however,some schools still use the traditional map as a campus navigation method,thisapproach has many deficiencies,such as:not intuitive navigation information,before we choose the path also need we to determine the direction.Augmented reality technology is a technology that can superimpose computergenerated virtual information in the real world to enhance people’s perception of the real world.Augmented reality technology can be integrated into navigation,which can make up for the shortcomings of traditional navigation.This paper introduces the augmented reality technology and the principle of Android mobile phone sensor in detail.A campus navigation system based on augmented reality is developed by combining Auto Navi navigation service with augmented reality technology and drawing on the modular design idea.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)The tracking registration algorithm based on sensor is implemented.First,obtain the current location of the device,and then use the Android phone sensor data to calculate the coordinates of the virtual information in the real world,to achieve tracking registration.(2)The POI display based on position is realized,the mapping method of POI information in the View coordinate system is designed,and the problem of how to calculate the position of augmented reality graphics in the View coordinate system in real time is solved.(3)The POI information display based on position is realized,and the mapping method of POI information on the screen View coordinate system is designed,which solves the problem of how to calculate the position of augmented reality graphics in the screen View coordinate system in real time.Through the research of the above three aspects,a navigation service based on Auto Navi map is designed.The virtual information is super imposed on the video stream obtained by the camera in the campus augmented reality navigation system through the sensor data such as the acceleration sensor and magnetic field sensor inside the mobile phone.
