Purpose: The information age is based on intelligence and information technology,big data,cloud computing,digital teaching has penetrated into all walks of life,physical education with the development of this trend and change.Therefore,this study conducts online and offline mixed teaching on the basis of traditional teaching,and explores the influence of mixed teaching on tennis technical level,tennis theoretical knowledge and sports attitude.It aims to improve the teaching quality of tennis course,optimize teaching activities,cultivate compound sports talents with innovative consciousness and innovative ability to meet the needs of information age,and demonstrate the practical application value of online and offline mixed teaching design in tennis course teaching.Methods: Using the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview,experiment and data statistics,taking the application of mixed teaching in tennis teaching in higher physical education institutions as the research object,the mixed teaching is applied in tennis teaching.Forty male students were recruited from the 2018 tennis elective class of Shandong University of Physical Education and randomly divided into experimental class(online and offline mixed teaching,n=20)and control class(offline traditional teaching,n=20).Before and after teaching intervention,The basic tennis skills(baseline forehand hitting skills,backhand hitting skills,serving skills),tennis knowledge and theory level and sports attitude test were tested,and the mixed learning satisfaction of the experimental class students was evaluated.Results: Through statistical analysis of the pretest and post-test indexes of the experimental class and the control class,the following results were obtained: there was no significant difference between the experimental class and the control class in the standard and technical evaluation of forehand,backhand,serve and sports attitude before intervention(P>0.05).The results of tennis skill level test after intervention showed that in the standard test: compared with the control class,the forehand(P<0.01),backhand and serve performance of experimental class were significantly improved(P <0.05);In the technical evaluation test: compared with the control class,the forehand,backhand and service performance of the experimental class were significantly increased(P<0.01);The experimental class was significantly higher than the control class(P<0.01).The experimental class sports skill total score(P<0.01),theoretical knowledge scores and physical education attitude were significantly higher than control class(P<0.05).The results of the study satisfaction survey of the experimental class showed that 90% of the subjects agreed that they would continue to take this course in the future,and 80% of the experimental students were willing to use this courseConclusions: 1.Compared with the offline traditional teaching,the mixed teaching has better effect in improving the tennis technical level,tennis theoretical knowledge and sports attitude of the selected students;2.The mixed teaching based on "Super Star Learning Pass" has a high degree of satisfaction and is recognized by most students.It is suggested that online and offline mixed teaching should be set up in selected tennis courses and different disciplines in sports colleges and universities to provide personalized learning means for students,broaden the way to acquire knowledge,cultivate students’ interest and enthusiasm in learning theoretical knowledge,and then improve students’ tennis skills.In addition,when outdoor teaching or training cannot be carried out normally,especially in the face of major disaster events(such as COVID-19 epidemic),online and offline combined teaching can still ensure students’ teaching organization and management.
