Entrepreneurship plays an important role in economic development by incubating technological innovation, improving economic efficiency and creating new employment opportunities.Entrepreneurship is the main factor of economic development, entrepreneurs are the key to economic growth, and entrepreneurship education is a tool to enhance entrepreneurial activities.By providing high-quality entrepreneurship education services and support, colleges and universities play an important role in promoting college students’ entrepreneurial intention, enhancing innovation vitality and promoting social and economic development.Based on the analysis of the existing literature, this paper designs a complete entrepreneurship education model, and comprehensively analyzes and evaluates entrepreneurship education in Colleges and universities from three dimensions of knowledge education, emotional education and resource support. The purpose of this study is to empirically test the impact of entrepreneurship knowledge education, emotional education and resource support on entrepreneurial intention of science and Engineering Undergraduates in two universities in Nanjing.Meanwhile, the mediating roles of subjective norms, behavior attitude and perceived behavior control in the theoretical framework of planned behavior are considered. In this study, two universities,Southeast University and Nanjing University, were selected by intentional sampling technique, and 620 undergraduates of science and engineering were selected as the research objects by simple random sampling technique. In order to verify the validity of the model, this paper uses Mplus 8.3 and maximum likelihood method to estimate the data of 620 science and engineering undergraduates. The results show that:(1)entrepreneurship knowledge education, emotional education and resource support significantly affect the entrepreneurial intention of science and engineering undergraduates.Among them, emotional education has the most influence on the entrepreneurial intention of science and engineering undergraduates, followed by resource support and knowledge education.(2)In the process of knowledge education influencing the entrepreneurial intention of science and engineering undergraduates, subjective norms, behavioral attitudes and perceived behavior control all play a significant mediating role, among which the mediating effect of behavioral attitude is the largest, followed by perceived behavioral control, and finally subjective norms.(3)In the process of emotional education and resource support influencing the entrepreneurial intention of science and engineering undergraduates, behavioral attitude and perceived behavior control both play a significant mediating role, among which behavioral attitude has the greatest mediating effect, followed by perceived behavioral control, and subjective norms have no significant mediating effect. The value and innovation of this study are mainly reflected in the following two aspects: first, entrepreneurship education in Colleges and universities is no longer a single dimensional construction mode, but as a multidimensional structure. It includes three dimensions: Entrepreneurship knowledge education, emotional education and resource support, which will help to provide reference for future entrepreneurship education design in Colleges and universities.Secondly,it expands the application scope of planned behavior theory in higher education, especially helps to understand whether and how entrepreneurship education affects the entrepreneurial intention of undergraduates majoring in science and engineering through the theoretical framework of planned behavior in higher education environment, which has practical value for the evaluation system and guidance of management intervention measures aimed at strengthening the actual effect of entrepreneurship education in Colleges and universities.
