Investigation On The Influence Factors Of The Online Public Opinion Of Corona Virus Disease 2019

As a major public health emergency,the Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19)has triggered a series of online public opinion fluctuations in Internet since its outbreak.Major public health emergencies due to their own particularities,the Internet public opinion triggered by emergencies presents new characteristics that are different from other emergencies,and it is of great significance to develop research on them with new perspectives and methods.From the perspective of the dynamics of public opinion,the evolution of public opinion is the result of the interaction of various social forces,and the evolution of online public opinion is affected by the forces of various parties in Internet.The social shock wave theoretical model constructed by Niu Wenyuan regards Internet public opinion as ripples rising from the "lake surface",and its evolution is affected by the "pebbles" falling on the "lake surface" and the existence of the "lake surface" itself.The influence of various factors.Based on the theory of social shock waves,this research has made research hypotheses and conducted research,aiming to reveal the law of the evolution of online public opinion in major public health emergencies by investigating the factors affecting the evolution of online public opinion during the Corona Virus Disease 2019.In this study,the hot searches related to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 on Sina Weibo were counted.According to various indicators such as reading volume,discussion volume,event type,event time and topic frequency,50 Weibo hot searches were finally selected as the research sample.After the samples were selected,the crawler tools "Descendant Collector" and "Octopus Collector" were used to collect the text of the original Weibo and Weibo comments of these 50 hot searches.In the content analysis process,firstly construct categories,which include: the type of information,whether it is mainstream media,whether the epidemic is controllable,whether the epidemic is widespread,whether anyone has died,whether the number has increased,whether it is scientifically known,whether it is well-known to the public,Does it extend beyond the topic,the amount of likes,the amount of comments,and the amount of reposts.On the basis of category construction,coding statistics are carried out.After the coding is completed,with the help of statistical analysis tool SPSS 26.0,a descriptive analysis and correlation analysis of the encoded data are carried out,and chi-square test are carried out on the results of the correlation analysis to explore the relationship between related variables.At the same time,this research also uses the text content mining tool ROST CM6 to perform word frequency analysis,semantic network analysis and sentiment analysis on 50 hot-searched data,aiming to combine content analysis to more in-depth mining influencing factors of the evolution of online public opinion.The research results show that the Corona Virus Disease 2019 is a major public health emergency,and the evolution of its online public opinion is affected by the particularity of the event itself and other social forces,which is in line with the research hypothesis of this study.Major public health emergencies have the characteristics of conflict,metaphor,continuity,and radiation,which will affect the evolution of online public opinion.At the same time,the evolution of public opinion on major public health emergencies is also affected by external social forces such as the media,netizens,opinion leaders,Internet and platforms.
