| After more than ten years of development in my country,the high-level orienteering sports teams have improved the technical level of orienteering and reached a new height,not only promoting the development of school mass sports in colleges and universities,but also providing high school students everywhere.With the opportunity,the country has cultivated many well-rounded orienteering high-level talents.National policies are an important factor affecting the development of high-level sports teams.In 2020,the Ministry of Education announced the suspension of enrollment policies for high-level orienteering teams.The team has some influence.It is the focus of this paper to analyze the impact of the suspension of enrollment of high-level sports teams on the development of orienteering projects,and to propose corresponding coping strategies for the impact of the suspension of recruitment of high-level sports teams of orienteering on the project.This research focuses on the impact of the suspension of enrollment of high-level orienteering sports teams on the development of the project,using literature,interviews,and case analysis methods to analyze colleges,middle schools and national teams after the suspension of high-level orienteering sports teams.A careful investigation of the impact resulted in the following conclusions:（1）The cessation of enrollment for high-level orienteering sports teams has different effects on the development of sports teams at different levels.For middle school sports teams,after the suspension of recruitment,it blocked the way out for middle school orienteering athletes to go to school.There were no orienteering athletes in middle schools,and schools no longer organized sports teams to participate in competitions.It reduces the popularity of the school and also affects the level and scale of orienteering in secondary schools.In terms of high-level sports teams in colleges and universities,the enrollment of sports teams has been restricted;the number of competitions and the number of participants has gradually decreased;the time and frequency of training cannot be guaranteed;the popularity and influence of schools have declined;Expenses have been reduced.The management of athletes in schools is lax;the competitive level of high-level orienteering athletes in colleges and universities is declining;the development prospects of athletes are limited and cannot reach expected goals;athletes’ interest in orienteering has declined.After the high-level sports teams stopped recruiting,the focus of the work of the coaches has shifted,and they are mainly responsible for the teaching tasks of the discipline;the coaching level of the high-level coaches is difficult to display;the salary of some coaches has decreased;Difficult to adapt to.For the national orienteering team,after the suspension of recruiting,the national team has generally had a low level of competition in the selection of athletes,and the reserve talents are obviously insufficient.The decline of the sports level of the national team athletes and the decline in the results and rankings achieved by participating in international competitions will affect the country’s investment and attention to the orienteering project,and will also affect the status of this project at home and abroad.（2）The suspension of enrollment of high-level orienteering sports teams has different effects on the development of the project in different periods.During the transition period from 2018 to 2020,the number of directional reserve talents in middle schools continued to decrease;the number of participating teams in colleges and universities was also decreasing,and the influence of directional events decreased;the quality and number of students selected for the national team decreased;The development of our country is at a stagnant stage.After the high-level orienteering team is completely suspended in 2021,there will be no orienteering athletes in middle schools,and there is no reserve of reserve talents;high-level orienteering athletes in colleges and universities continue to graduate,and high-level orienteering teams in colleges and universities have been disbanded or are facing dissolution;The selection of the national team will be more difficult,and it is difficult to form a high-level sports team to participate in international competitions;after the complete suspension of recruitment,the development of this project in my country will slowly regress.The following coping strategies are proposed for the impact of the suspension of enrollment of high-level orienteering sports teams on the development of the project:In middle schools,orienteering coaches should actively guide students to participate in orienteering activities.When carrying out activities,they should reduce difficulty and increase interesting competitions,so that students can enjoy the fun of orienteering and attract more students to participate in the sport.In terms of colleges and universities,college coaches who have been transferred can set up a permanent representative team in the school to participate in orienteering events,thereby improving the competitive level of college orienteering athletes;the full-time coaches who have been transferred will be given pre-job training before starting to work,and help in multiple ways.The coaches after the transfer will go through the adaptation period to improve the adaptability and happiness of the coaches after the transfer.As for the national team,national team coaches should communicate more with international coaches,introduce advanced foreign equipment and training concepts,and actively learn foreign material selection models and training methods;athletes should also communicate and learn with athletes from different regions.In order to maintain the technical level of orienteering in my country,the national team can regularly subsidize athletes with higher competitive levels,so that the athletes can always maintain the state to represent the country in competitions. |
