| Ingenuity originates from craftsman spirit,which can also be called "craftsman psychology".It is considered as a professional psychological quality,which can promote individuals to pursue perfection,honesty and meticulous in the process of work(Chen Shangnan.2019).Previous studies have divided craftsmanship into five dimensions:craftsman skills,craftsman innovation,craftsman responsibility,craftsman immersion and craftsman resilience,which respectively represent the spiritual qualities of individual excellence,exploration and innovation,courage to take responsibility,calm and meticulous and perseverance.In different industry backgrounds,resilience(scotter&Garg,2019)and innovation spirit will affect the sustainable behavior of entrepreneurs,which may drive individuals to continue to pursue new goals.Research on future self continuity has mentioned more than once that high future self continuity will strengthen the sense of connection between the current self and the future self,which will reduce the gap between the current selfs state and the expected goal of the future self,thus affecting the possibility of individual preference risk.In order to investigate the development and change characteristics of College Students’ ingenuity level,self continuity and entrepreneurial intention in the future.The cross delay design is used to explore the mutual prediction relationship and dynamic interaction effect between College Students’ ingenuity,future self continuity and entrepreneurial intention.Two six-month follow-up studies were conducted on Universities from Jiangsu,Sichuan,Jilin,Zhejiang and other regions using the psychological questionnaire for craftsmen of college students prepared by Zhou Mingru(2018),the future self continuity scale prepared by hershfield(2009)and the entrepreneurial intention scale revised by Hu Jing(2018).The results are as follows:(1)The results of study 1 show that the overall ingenuity level of college students is at the upper middle level.Taking the grade,gender and major of college students as independent variables and the craftsman skills,craftsman innovation,craftsman resilience,craftsman responsibility and craftsman immersion of College Students’ ingenuity as dependent variables,the analysis shows that the craftsman skills,craftsman innovation,craftsman resilience and craftsman responsibility of College Students’ ingenuity have significant main effects in grade.The senior students are significantly higher than the freshmen,sophomores and juniors,and the interaction effect of grade and major in the dimension of craftsman resilience is significant,That is,the engineering effect is the most significant in different grades.In the dimension of craftsman immersion,the main effects of grade,gender and major are not significant,and the interaction effect of grade and major is significant,that is,the engineering effect is the most significant in different grades.Taking the grade,gender and family economic status of college students as independent variables and the craftsman skills,craftsman innovation,craftsman resilience,craftsman responsibility and craftsman immersion of College Students’ ingenuity as dependent variables,the analysis shows that the craftsman skills,craftsman innovation,craftsman resilience and craftsman responsibility of College Students’ ingenuity have significant main effects in grade,and the senior students are significantly higher than the freshmen,sophomores and junior students.In the dimension of craftsman immersion,the grade,gender The major effects were not significant.(2)The results of study 2 show that there is a significant positive correlation between College Students’ ingenuity and future self continuity,between College Students’ ingenuity and entrepreneurial intention,and between College Students’ future self continuity and entrepreneurial intention.The direct effect of College Students’ ingenuity on entrepreneurial intention is significant,and the mediating effect of future self continuity in ingenuity and entrepreneurial intention is also significant,and the mediating effect value is 0.242.(3)The results of study 3 show that the ingenuity level of college students in the pre-test is lower than that in the post-test:the future self continuity of the pre-test is lower than that of the post-test;the entrepreneurial intention of the pre-test is lower than that of the post-test.The ingenuity of college students in the pre-test can significantly predict the future self continuity of the post-test,that is,the ingenuity of the pre-test is the reason for the future self continuity of the post-test.The future self continuity of the pre-test can significantly predict the entrepreneurial intention of the post-test,that is,the future self continuity of the pre-test is the reason for the entrepreneurial intention of the post-test.Future self continuity plays a significant mediating role between College Students’ ingenuity and entrepreneurial intention.To sum up,both horizontal and vertical research results show that future self continuity plays an intermediary role between College Students’ ingenuity and entrepreneurial intention,that is,the reason why students with high ingenuity level have high entrepreneurial intention is that future self continuity plays an intermediary role. |
