School after-school service is a livelihood project,which is of great significance for promoting social development,realizing educational equity,and reducing the gap between students’ after-school growth.After-school services appear because there is no one to take care of the primary school students after school.Its development is mainly to solve the problem of the time difference between primary school students’ early school and their parents’ late get off work,which helps to reduce the burden on parents and promote social harmony.This research takes the subjects involved in after-school services from grade one to six in primary schools as the research object.It uses literature research methods and survey research methods to understand the implementation status of after-school services in primary schools and to find out the development process of after-school services in schools Some corresponding solutions are proposed.This research is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.It mainly explains the question and the significance of the research.It summarizes and analyzes the current domestic and foreign researches,clarifies the core concepts of this research,and selects the corresponding research methods.The second part,based on the analysis of existing research,concludes that the main content of the school’s after-school services are:subject guidance,subject development,and extracurricular activities.It also summarizes its meaning from three aspects,namely,satisfying students’ pursuit of individualization and enhancing teachers.The interaction and understanding of students promote the long-term development of the school.The third part takes the parents,students,teachers and the person in charge of the school’s after-school service as the research object.Using the literature research method and the investigation research method,it is found that the current problems include the difficulty of monitoring the content of after-school services and after-school services.Insufficient funds,insufficient after-school service space,limited teachers,and unclear rights and responsibilities of after-school service subjects.The fourth part analyzes the problem and finds that the reason is mainly due to the insufficient supervision policy of the education administration department,the insufficient self-reflection consciousness of the school,the fuzzy sense of responsibility of the parents and other factors.The fifth part combines the results of the analysis of the problems and causes,and puts forward suggestions from the perspective of after-school service development:improve relevant policies and systems,enhance the quality of after-school services,promote cooperation with parents,and innovate cooperation models.The after-school service work in elementary schools provides some references.
