| Prosocial behavior is a higher level of individual morality.Chinese scholars mostly study the prosocial behavior of primary school students and college students,while the study of rural junior high school students is less.Emotional intelligence is the ability of individuals to perceive and understand their own and others’ emotions and emotional information,and to influence their own internal thoughts and external behaviors through processing these emotions and emotional information.Peer relationship is a kind of interpersonal relationship between individuals of similar age or psychological development level.A large number of studies have found that emotional intelligence and peer relationship are important factors affecting junior high school students’ prosocial behavior.At present,many rural parents choose to work in cities due to economic pressure,so they have to send their students to boarding schools.In this case,there will be a problem.Will there be any difference in the prosocial behavior of rural junior high school students between boarding in school and still living with their guardians? Will boarding affect the prosocial behavior of rural junior high school students? Previous studies have paid little attention to this.Explore the relationship between emotional intelligence,peer relationship,whether boarding or not and prosocial behavior,Accordingly,it is of great significance to put forward relevant suggestions to cultivate the prosocial behavior of rural junior high school students in educational activities and promote the comprehensive development of physical and mental of rural junior high school students.This study selected Four rural middle schools of Weishi in Henan to conduct a questionnaire survey among 1080 students in Grade One and Grade Two.870 valid questionnaires were collected for the study.This paper explores the impact emotional intelligence,peer relationship and boarding on prosocial behavior of rural junior high schools.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The overall emotional intelligence of rural junior middle school students is at the upper middle level;There is no significant difference in gender and age in emotional intelligence of rural junior middle school students.There are significant differences in grade and whether boarding or not,which is higher than that in grade two,and the rural boarding junior middle school students are lower than the rural non boarding junior middle school students;(2)The peer relationship of rural junior middle school students is at a medium level as a whole;The level of peer relationship of rural boarding junior middle school students is lower than that of non boarding junior middle school students.In several aspects,There was no significant difference in peer relationship;(3)There are significant differences in prosocial behavior of rural junior middle school students in gender,grade and age.The level of prosocial behavior of rural boarding junior middle school students is lower than that of non boarding junior middle school students;(4)Emotional intelligence of rural junior middle school students is significantly positively correlated with prosocial behavior,emotional intelligence of rural junior middle school students is significantly negatively correlated with peer relationship,and peer relationship is significantly negatively correlated with prosocial behavior;(5)Peer relationship plays a mediating role in the effect of emotional intelligence on prosocial behavior,and the mediating role is moderated by boarding factors.Compared with non-boarding junior middle school students,boarding junior middle school students ’Peer relationship is more significantly affected by emotional intelligence. |
