As an equal and optional social relationship,peer relationship plays an important role in junior high school students' study and life.In this study,the peer relationship refers to the interpersonal relationship generated during the communication and cooperation among groups of similar age and similar level of psychological development.Peer relationship is influenced by many factors,including family,school and individual.As an important psychological ability,emotional intelligence is influenced by children's first teacher-parents.Meanwhile,the level of emotional intelligence will affect the quality of interpersonal relationship.This study is based on the previous theories and researches of human beings.Firstly,the relationship among parental rearing mode,emotional intelligence and peer relationship was explored.Group psychological counseling was conducted for the experimental group to improve the peer relationship of junior high school students,further exploring the influence of emotional intelligence on peer relationship of junior high school students,and providing new ideas for the curriculum design of school mental health education.In the first study,525 junior high school students were tested with the simple parenting style scale,emotional intelligence scale and peer relationship scale.SPSS was used to analyze the data.The results were as follows: positive parenting style was significantly positively correlated with peer acceptance,negatively correlated with peer fear,and positively correlated with emotional intelligence.Emotional intelligence is positively correlated with peer acceptance and negatively correlated with peer fear.Emotional intelligence plays a part in mediating between parenting style and peer relationship.Based on the result of the first study,the second screening 30 subjects education experiments,after eight weeks of emotional intelligence subject group counseling intervention,the experimental group emotional intelligence,peer relationship,test scores and test scores before and after the test scores were significantly different after the control group,the theme of the show that emotional intelligence group psychological counseling for group intervention is effective.Enhancing emotional intelligence and improving peer relationship are of greatsignificance to the mental health education of middle school students.
