Research On The Role Of Volunteer Service In Improving The Ideological And Moral Quality Of College Students

The development of a country and the rise and fall of a nation are closely related to the ideological and moral quality of college students.Volunteer service,as an important carrier for improving the ideological and moral quality of college students,plays an important role in improving the ideological and moral quality of college students.Affected by college students’ cognition of voluntary service,the mechanism of voluntary service and external environmental factors,there are still some problems in the process of improving college students’ ideological and moral quality.Based on this,the article focuses on the role of voluntary service in improving the ideological and moral quality of college students,and explores from the two dimensions of theory and practice,and strives to gain a rational understanding of further exerting the role of voluntary service to improve the ideological and moral quality of college students.In the theoretical research part,firstly,starting from the relevant statements of Marx,Lenin and the leaders of the Communist Party of China,clarify the theoretical basis of volunteer service to improve the ideological and moral quality of college students,and explain the role of voluntary service in improving the ideological and moral quality of college students in all aspects.Theoretically explain the reason for relying on voluntary service to improve the ideological and moral quality of college students.Secondly,it basically sorts out the development of our country’s college students’ voluntary service,and summarizes the four education modes that Chinese colleges and universities play the role of volunteer service to improve the ideological and moral quality of college students.In the part of practical exploration,the current situation of volunteering to improve the ideological and moral quality of college students is analyzed by the method of questionnaire survey and qualitative interviews with the survey objects of college students in Hunan Province.The results show that voluntary service has achieved certain results in improving the ideological and moral quality of college students,and it has had a significant impact on the ideals,beliefs,ethics and outlook of life of college students.However,there are still problems such as unclear guidance of volunteer service spirit,unsustainable role of volunteer service in educating people,and insufficient initiative of volunteer service participation,which restrict the further improvement of college students’ ideological and moral quality.Therefore,in order to better play the role of volunteering in improving the ideological and moral quality of college students,we have conducted an in-depth analysis of the causes of the problems and made suggestions: firstly,we must cultivate the spirit of college students’ voluntary service,and enhance their awareness of voluntary services;secondly,we must improve voluntary services.Mechanism to promote the role of voluntary service in enhancing the ideological and moral quality of college students;finally,it is necessary to optimize the environment of voluntary service and create a good atmosphere for enhancing the ideological and moral quality of college students.
