Head shot technique is one of the techniques and tactics with a higher scoring rate in taekwondo competitions. In actual combat, head shot technique requires athletes to have strong physical qualities such as flexibility, explosive power and single-foot balance ability.Common hitting techniques include high leg techniques such as down split, backspin, double fly, horizontal kick, whirlwind kick, etc.,which require athletes to have strong coordination in the hip, knee and ankle joints. The hitting techniques and tactics are in actual combat. It is a highly difficult technical action that supports long distance hitting the opponent’s head with one leg.The muscle group below the diaphragm of the athlete plays a vital role in hitting skills and tactics. Therefore,in order to improve the success rate of athletes in actual combat,it is necessary to strengthen the training of athletes’ muscle groups below the diaphragm.Relevant studies have shown that crawling training can effectively improve athletes’ hip joint and lower limb strength. The training principle is to prevent animals from walking through the body, which is conducive to improving the stability of one leg, coordination of upper and lower limbs, explosive power of lower limbs, core strength and other qualities.,To promote the systemic coordination of bones, muscles, and ligaments, thereby improving the athlete’s ability to kick quickly and accurately. This article adopts research methods such as literature data method, video observation method, expert interview method, questionnaire survey method, experimental method, mathematical statistics method and logical analysis method to study the impact of crawling training method on the kicking ability of college Taekwondo athletes.Subjects,12 athletes from the Taekwondo team of Hunan Normal University were randomly selected as experimental subjects for 12 weeks of experimental training. The experiment selected balance and stability ability, sensitivity and coordination, frontal plane balance and stability ability, number of successful hit techniques, and hip joint sensitivity as test indicators, and compared the results of the two groups of members before and after the experiment for 12 weeks. The results of the study were compared and analyzed.as follows:(1)In terms of balance and stability, both training methods can significantly improve the balance and stability of the athletes’ lower limbs and waist strength.According to the data of the two groups of experimental subjects, the improvement in stability of the experimental group is higher than that of the control group.Crawling training reduces the risk of lower limb sports injury, develops the body’s ability to control the opposite limbs, and can more effectively strengthen the stability of Taekwondo athletes.Ability to improve the kicking ability of the head shot technique.(2)In terms of sensitivity and coordination. After the experiment, the experimental group and the control group increased by 0.17 seconds%and 0.02 second% respectively in the kangaroo jump test, and the repeated straddling performance increased by 4.84 and 4.68 respectively. It shows that crawling training is better than traditional strength training in changing the direction of movement suddenly and improving the coordination of upper limbs and lower limbs, improving the kicking ability with quick response to the head technique.(3)In terms of balance and stability of the frontal plane. After the experiment, the left side bridge of the experimental group and the control group increased by 2.99 points and 1.5 points, respectively. After the experiment, the right side bridge of the two groups of subjects increased by 2.34 points and 0.66 points, respectively. It proves that the crawling training method can effectively improve the frontal balance and stability of competitive athletes.(4)In terms of the number of successful head-attack techniques. After the experiment, the experimental group and the control group increased by 5.16 and 2.2 in the 20-second high-position kick, respectively, and increased by 3.67 and 2.33 in the 30-second electronic response target. It proves that the crawling training method has a positive effect on the success rate of Taekwondo athletes in promoting head shot technique.(5)In terms of hip joint sensitivity. After the experiment, the experimental group and the control group increased by 3.34 and 1.66 in20-second double-flying respectively, and increased by 2.84 and 1.34 in the 10-second in-situ spin kick.It proves that the strength of the muscle groups on both sides of the experimental group is significantly higher than that of the control group, and it improves the kicking ability of head shot technique.
