Children’s aesthetic education is a process that follows the characteristics of children’s physical and mental development and promotes children to appreciate,express and create beauty independently in happy and healthy activities so as to improve their aesthetic quality and rich in aesthetic feeling.Children’s aesthetic education also plays an important role in the all-round development of children.The picture books express the theme through pictures and texts,and their pictures,languages and themes are full of aesthetic values,which can effectively promote the practice of aesthetic education in kindergartens and help educators achieve the goal of aesthetic education.This study is based on a case study,and its research tool is the picture books of aesthetic value.It uses literature,field observation,interview,case analysis and other research methods,and takes a kindergarten in Fuzhou as an example to explore the practice of aesthetic education in kindergartens with picture books.It expounds the current situation of the practice,analyzes the existing problems,and puts forward relevant strategies and suggestions.Whereby it can provide references for how to carry out the practice of preschool aesthetic education in kindergartens with picture books.
