Design Of The Plan For Emergency Management Of OY College Students’ Safety Based On Information Technology

With the development of higher education in China,the school-running scale of colleges and universities has gradually expanded,and the student management affairs have become complicated.Because of the changes in social environments,the unstable factors affecting students’ safety are diversified,while the difficulty of students’ safety management is increasing.How to ensure the mental health and life safety of college students has become an important issue that society,schools and parents have to pay close attention to.In order to further reduce the risk of students’ safety,all sides should learn from the idea of emergency management to achieve early warnings of safety risks as possible,and control possible accidental injuries.With the advance of information technology,it is possible to reduce the difficulty of risk management of students’ safety by using information technology to carry out emergency management and early warning prediction.Based on the application of information technology to colleges and universities,this paper puts forward the method of student comprehensive data analysis,combined with specific needs for students’ safety emergency management,designs a set of complete management schemes,forms the emergency management information system of students’ safety,which is aimed to reduce the difficulty and complexity of students’ safety management.This paper takes OY college as an example because the construction foundation of smart campus of the university is relatively complete.Since the information system of OY college basically covers all aspects of students’ learning and life on campus,comparatively comprehensive data about students’ behavior can be easily accessible.Besides,the university is typically private,which causes some difficulties in the management of students’ safety;relevant departments hope to realize the emergency management of students’ safety through information technology.First of all,through the researches on the theories about contingencies and emergency management and students’ safety management of colleges and universities,in terms of the requirements for constructing information systems related to emergency management,this paper clarifies how to carry out the design of students’ safety emergency management based on information technology.Secondly,through the interviews with the relevant offices and departments of student management in OY college,the key problems in students’ safety management have been found,mainly including insufficient sharing of students’ status information,further improvement and optimization of management regulations and emergency plans,and safety risks in large-scale activities of the students.Then,according to the current situation and the problems as well as the interviews,this paper studies the specific requirements for this scheme and the system design,including seven types of requirements for students’ information collection and pre-judgment analysis,early warning and safety management applications.Based upon the design ideas of integrating data,optimizing systems and plans,realizing information sharing and decentralization,the design and construction of the system are completed,realizing the following functions: students’ information management,safety portrait display,management of key students,management of caring conversations,emergency management,warning about long-term absence from school,and safety warning about students’ activities.Finally,according to the requirements for the operation and maintenance of the system application,the paper proposes some security measures related to technology,organization,personnel training and management system.Since this paper mainly takes OY college as a study case in the research process,it lacks the horizontal comparative analysis of the IT-applied infrastructures and students’ safety management of other domestic colleges and universities.The accuracy of students’ data has certain influences upon the effectiveness of early warning information and emergency management,and the early warning mechanism needs to be further tested and improved.Those problems will be mainly discussed in future researches.
