Nature education is an important way to protect the ecological environment and establish the connection between human and nature.It plays an important role in the growing-up process of children and teenagers.Direct contact with nature can also improve the mental health of urban residents controlled by electronic products.The past decade witnessed mushrooming of nature education in China with children and teenagers as its major audience group,exploring the constituent elements and influencing mechanism of teenagers well-being from the perspective of nature education can not only enrich the theoretical achievements in the field of nature education and well-being,but also provide directional guidance for the practice of nature education in China.On the basis of literature review,concept and theoretical discussion on nature education and well-being,this study systematically studies the well-being of teenagers from the perspective of nature education by combining qualitative and quantitative analysis.Firstly,using the results of participatory observation and interviews with nature education stakeholders to design an open-ended questionnaire.Based on the results of the open-ended questionnaire,using grounded theory to construct the theoretical model of teenagers’ well-being from the perspective of natural education;secondly,word frequency and semantic content analysis were used to obtains the influencing factors of teenagers’ well-being from the perspective of natural education.Finally,according to the above results,established the measurement index of teenagers’ well-being from the perspective of natural education,then through the questionnaire survey of 11-14 years old teenagers in Beijing,1090 valid questionnaires were collected and analyzed by factor analysis,hierarchical regression analysis,SEM and other statistical methods.The results show that:(1)from the perspective of nature education,teenagers’ well-being is the progressive and linkage influence of subject satisfaction,emotional connection and subject realization.The composition system includes eight elements: health,positive emotion,leisure state,good interpersonal relationship,perception of nature,engagement,ability improvement and lasting participation,and three levels of space,content and experience state;(2)compared with individual characteristics,natural resources,natural education activities and interpretation system have more significant and positive effects on the overall level of teenagers’ well-being;(3)natural resources,natural education activities and interpretation system have positive effects on teenagers’ well-being,and they played different roles in the process of the influence.Among them,natural resources have a positive and significant impact on health,positive emotion,leisure state,engagement and lasting participation;natural education activities have a positive impact on good interpersonal relationship;interpretation system has a positive impact on ability improvement,but has a significant negative impact on perception of nature and lasting participation;(4)participation frequency has a significant impact and reverse moderating effect between nature education and teenagers’ well-being.Finally,according to the conclusion,the paper puts forward the development suggestions for the practice of nature education in China:(1)from the perspective of managers,we should improve the policy of nature education to combine nature education with science education,and formulate the industry standard of nature education to build the brand of nature education;(2)For the practitioners of natural education,we should make full use of the unique natural resources,improve the natural interpretation and education system,and build a complete knowledge system of natural education,so as to optimize the content of natural education.
