Research On The Application Of Core Stability Training In The Special Training Of Hammer Throw Players

Objection:In this study,the four female Hammer throw players of Shaanxi team preparing for the National Games suffered from poor core stability,which affected the normal performance of special skills during special training.This study was applied to the winter training of Shaanxi provincial Hanumer throw team,to investigate the effect of 16 weeks of general and specific core stability training on the core stability of the athletes and on the Hammer throw rotation rhythm,thus providing a theoretical basis for improving the core stability of female Hammer throw players.Methods:Four female Hammer throw athletes from the Shaanxi provincial track and field team preparing for the 14th National Games were selected to undergo core stability training for 40 minutes three times a week for 16 weeks during winter training,and the athletes were tested before and after the training with the following test indexes:(1)Functional movement screening:deep squat,linear lunge,hurdle rack step,shoulder flexibility,active straight knee leg raise,trunk stability push-ups,trunk rotation push-ups.(2)Core stability:level eight abdominal bridge,level seven back bridge,level six side bridge,closed-eye monopod stance.(3)Core explosive power:standing turn back throw.(4)Hammer throw rotation rhythm:pre-swing time,decreasing rate of time per lap,single and double support time ratio,final force time.The experimental data obtained from the experiments were created and analyzed by Microsoft Excel software with EXCEL database.Results:(1)Comparison of functional movement screening indicators before and after training:①After 16 weeks of training,Zhou XX’s deep squat and lunge squat increased by 1 point compared to training,scoring 3 points,hurdle step and stability push-up both increased by 2 points,scoring 3 points,rotational stability did not change to 2 points,shoulder flexibility and straight leg raise score did not drop,still full 3 points,total score increased by 6 points to 20 points.②After 16 weeks of training,Chen XX’s stability push-up increased by 1 point compared to before training,scoring 2 points,hurdle step increased by 2 points,scoring 3 points,deep squat,lunge squat,shoulder flexibility,rotation stability did not change for 2 points,straight leg raise score did not drop still full score of 3 points,total score increased by 3 points to 16 points.③Mi XX’s hurdle step and stability push-ups have increased by 1 point compared to before training,except for the straight push-up and rotation stability which did not drop and still scored a full 3 points,the other movement patterns scored no change and the total score increased by 2 points to 17 points.④Ren X’s deep squat,lunge squat and stability push-up increased by 1 point compared to before training,scoring 2 points,hurdle step increased by 2 points,scoring 3 points,no change in shoulder flexibility and rotation stability,straight leg raise score did not decrease,still full 3 points,total score increased by 5 points to 19 points.(2)Comparison of core stability indicators before and after training:1)level eight abdominal bridge:①Zhou XX’s improvement is 157%;②Chen XX’s improvement is 109%;③Mi XX’s improvement is 87%;④Ren X’s improvement is 90%.2)level six side bridge:①Zhou XX’s left side improvement is 103%and right side improvement is 78%;②Chen XX’s left side improvement is 94%and right side improvement is 79%;③Mi XX’s left side improvement is 59%and right side improvement is 52%:④Ren X’s left side improvement is 62%and right side improvement is 52%.3)level seven back bridge:①Zhou XX’s improvement is 69%;②Chen XX’s improvement is 71%;③Mi XX’s improvement is 57%:④Ren X’s improvement is 58%.4)closed-eye monopod stance:①Zhou XX’s left side improvement is 243%and right side improvement is 170%;②Chen XX’s left side improvement is 188%and right side improvement is 171%;③Mi XX’s left side improvement is 165%and right side improvement is 161%:④Ren X’s left side improvement is 235%and right side improvement is 229%.(3)Comparison of core explosive strength indicators before and after training:1)standing turn back throw:①Zhou XX’s left side improvement is 29%and right side improvement is 33%;②Chen XX’s left side improvement is 29%and right side improvement is 23%:③Mi XX’s left side improvement is 30%and right side improvement is 31%;④Ren X’s left side improvement is 17%and right side improvement is 15%.(4)Comparison of rotation rhythm indicators of Hammer throw before and after training:1)Pre-swing time:①Zhou XX decreased by 0.23s;②Chen XX decreased by 0.09s;③ Mi XX decreased by 0.22s;④Ren X decreased by 0.43s.2)Each rotation time and the decreasing rate of time:①The rotation time and the decreasing rate of time for each lap of Zhou XX changed from 0.61/0.62/0.48/0.47s and-1.6/1.7/20.8 before training to 0.59/0.58/0.48/0.46s and 1.7/20.8/4.3 after training;②Chen XX changed from 0.52/0.54/0.52s and-3.7/5.8 before training to 0.52/0.55/0.50s and-5.5/10 after training.③Mi XX changed from 0.61/0.70/0.61/0.52s,-12.9/14.8/17.3 before training to 0.60/0.64/0.59/0.52s,-6.3/8.5/13.5 after training;④Ren X changed from 0.65/0.60/0.59s and 5.0/17.6 before training to 0.63/0.60/0.55s,5.0/9.1 after training.3)single and double support time ratio:①Zhou XX improved from 0.91,1.18,0.92,1.04 before training to 1.03,1.32,1.09,0.92 after training;②Chen XX improved from 0.79,1.57,1.36 before training to 0.93,1.62,1.17 after training;③Mi XX improved from 0.85,1.12,0.85,0.82 before training to 0.94,1.13,1.03,0.93 after training;④Ren X improved from 1.10,1.22,1.50 before training to 1.03,1.22,1.50 after training.4)Final force time:①Zhou XX reduced from 0.23s to 0.22s,a decrease of 0.01s;② Chen XX reduced from 0.31s to 0.26s,a decrease of 0.09s;③Mi XX reduced from 0.27s to 0.25s,a decrease of 0.02s;④Ren X reduced from 0.25s to 0.24s,a decrease of 0.01s.Conclusions:(1)Core stability training applied in the special training of female Hammer throw players led to different degrees of improvement in the total functional movement screening scores of the tested athletes,mainly reflected in the functional improvement of four major movement patterns:deep squat,hurdle step,linear lunge squat and stability push-up.(2)Core stability training was applied in the special training of female Hammer throw players,which led to a significant improvement in all four indexes of core stability of the tested athletes,as shown in the level eight abdominal bridge,level six side bridge,level seven back bridge and closed-eye monopod stance in core stability.(3)Core stability training was applied in the special training of female Hammer throw players,which led to a significant improvement in the core explosive power of the tested athletes.(4)Core stability training was applied in the special training of female Hammer throw players led to a significant improvement of the Hammer throw rotation rhythm of the tested athletes,which was reflected in the reduction of the total rotation time and the corresponding improvement of the decreasing rate of each circle time and the ratio of single and double support time.
