In 2019,the Implementation Plan of the Special Work for Higher Vocational Enrollment Expansion clearly pointed out that groups such as ex-military personnel,laid-off workers,migrant workers and new professional farmers are included in the enrollment scope of higher vocational education.As far as migrant workers are concerned,this undoubtedly opens a new channel for them to improve their professional skills and educational level through higher vocational education.From the macro level,it’s conducive to meet the needs of high-quality technical talents for industrial transformation and upgrading;From the micro level,it is beneficial for migrant workers to realize employment iteration,improve employment quality and make better career planning through skill upgrading.This study takes "higher vocational enrollment expansion" as the background,takes migrant workers’ acceptance of vocational education as the research theme,comprehensive use of literature research,questionnaire survey and interview survey method,takes supply-demand balance theory and human capital theory as the theoretical basis,and based on the demand for skill extension and skill deepening of migrant workers.On the basis of investigating the present situation of training migrant workers in higher vocational colleges,this paper analyzes the existing problems and causes,and puts forward suggestions to improve the training of migrant workers in higher vocational colleges.The investigation and research part aims to analyze the demand of migrant workers students for vocational education in schools and the training status of migrant workers students in higher vocational colleges,find the problems existing in the training of migrant workers students and analyze the reasons.The questionnaire and interview mainly selects some migrant workers students and teachers in some higher vocational colleges in Tianjin,Sichuan,Guangdong,Zhejiang and other regions,and inspects the practices in six aspects,such as talent cultivation plan,curriculum setting,teacher level,teaching implementation,teaching evaluation and teaching management.The main issues identified include: the talent training program should further highlight the pertinence and difference;The difficulty of course setting and application need to be improved;The professional skills of teachers need to be improved and targeted teacher training is lacking;Lack of innovation in teaching methods and teaching resources;The evaluation system needs to be improved;The teaching management mechanism needs to be further improved scientifically.Cause analysis is carried out from external factors and internal factors respectively,mainly including: More detailed training requirements have not been introduced;The influence of traditional concept on the concept of education in higher vocational colleges;School situation analysis is not enough;Industrial enterprises failed to deeply participate in the training of migrant workers.This study give advice to improve the training of migrant workers in higher vocational colleges from the three aspects of government,schools and enterprises.First,the government carries out macro-control: establishing and improving the talent training guarantee mechanism and promoting the successful experience of higher vocational colleges.Second,the school should deepen the reform of talent cultivation from the following six aspects: talent cultivation plan,curriculum setting,teacher level,teaching implementation,teaching evaluation and teaching management.Third,the industry and enterprises assume the responsibility of joint education and deeply participate in talent training.
