With the deepening of the aging population in our country, the demand for professionals in the elderly care service industry has increased rapidly. In recent years, many secondary and higher vocational schools have opened the major of elderly care and management, but the proportion of students entering the elderly care service industry is low and stable. The low employment rate makes it difficult to alleviate the shortage of senior care professionals. The reason why young people are reluctant to enter the elderly care industry is not only because of their occupational nature, but also because of school education. Therefore, this study takes a secondary vocational school as an example to deeply understand and study the curriculum system of the school’s senior service and management major, and whether it has effectively changed students’ cognition of senior service work and formed a higher vocational education.Investigate and analyze the sense of identity. The research uses students’ occupational identity status as an observation index to reflect the effect of school curriculum, judge the effectiveness of its curriculum system in the process of talent training, discover its existing problems, and then help schools optimize the professional development in a targeted manner.Curriculum setting, improving the quality of talent training, and laying a foundation for the senior care industry to cultivate useful and retainable professionals.First, study the talent training program of the school’s senior service and management major, and analyze it against the corresponding national standards.Secondly,it investigates and analyzes the professional identity of the students majoring in aged service and management in the school. On the basis of reading a large number of relevant literature, the dimensions of professional identity were determined, and the "Questionnaire on Vocational Identity of Students Majoring in Senior Service and Management in Secondary Vocational Schools" and the "Outline of Interviews on Vocational Identity of Students Majoring in Senior Service and Management in Secondary Vocational Schools" were compiled. The analysis found that the school’s professional courses did not play a sufficient role in improving students’ professional identity, and the effectiveness was not high. The specific problems are: the school curriculum seriously deviates from the "Teaching Standards";the school curriculum misleads students’ understanding and cognition of their future career;the students’ professional identity does not increase with the grade; The level of students’ professional identity is low. Finally, the reasons for the problems found in the investigation are analyzed, and targeted suggestions are put forward from three aspects: the establishment of school personnel training programs, curriculum ideological and political construction, and career planning education.
