With the increasing advancement of teachers’ professionalization,all sectors of society pay special attention to teachers’ teaching ability.Although novice teachers are the primary period of teachers’ professional development,their professional development is a continuous and dynamic process.Therefore,fully analyzing the teaching ability of novice teachers can promote teachers’ professional development.Primary education is the initial link of my country’s education system and an important foundation of national education.The teaching ability of novice teachers in primary schools determines the quality of primary education to a certain extent.Therefore,this paper focuses on the questionnaire survey method,combined with interviews to further discuss the development of the teaching ability of novice teachers in primary schools,and then help them quickly adapt to the requirements of education reform and improve their teaching ability and professional level.First,construct a model of the teaching ability of novice teachers in primary schools.By analyzing domestic and foreign relevant literature and consulting experts,the ability of teaching preparation stage,teaching implementation stage and teaching reflection stage is set as the first-level index;22 teaching abilities such as teaching material analysis,learning situation analysis,and teaching goal design are set as the first-level indicators.as a secondary indicator.Secondly,a questionnaire on the teaching ability of primary school novice teachers is compiled.According to the teaching ability model of primary school novice teachers and comb ined with the literature,the questionnaire was compiled,and then the questionnaire was revised through discussions with experts and tutors to form a measurement tool with good reliability and validity.Thirdly,it analyzes the current situation of the teaching ability development of novice teachers in primary schools.Select the novice teachers from ten primary schools in H City,Henan Province as the survey objects,and analyze the overall status and specific conditions of the teaching ability of novice teachers in primary schools according to the data processing results.The questionnaire data proves that the teaching ability of novice teachers in primary schools is deficient in the three stages of teaching preparation,teaching implementation and teaching reflection,such as insufficient learning situation analysis ability,loose design of teaching links,single form of motivation,lack of classroom adaptability,and one-sided teaching evaluation methods.etc.phenomenon.The factors affecting the development of novice teachers’ teaching ability in primary schools are diverse.Among them,the lack of school induction training and complicated tasks,as well as the lack of teachers’ own knowledge reserves,the urgent need to adjust their mentality,and the lack of effective communication are the key to the problems of primary school novice teachers’ teaching ability.Based on this,this paper puts forward corresponding suggestions according to the causes of the problem.Schools should optimize induction training and reduce the pressure of novice teachers;teachers should enhance their awareness of self-improvement,actively develop a positive attitude,and join the teacher development community.
